This stub is pretty much incomprehensible, not to mention the self-referential definition ("Plagal mode refers to the notes of a plagal mode"). --RobHutten 00:22, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Merge request removed[edit]
I removed a merge proposal, as the term clearly has different meanings in Gregorian and Byzantine practices, and it would be nice to describe them here: both differences ans similarities.
