Ivy Hawkins, England's last lady miller?[edit]

The article included:

Ivy Hawkins, claimed to be England's last lady miller

This may well be true in the sense it was no doubt meant (ie. of the old school of millers whose principal business was milling corn). But at least one of today's preserved corn mills (Mapledurham Watermill) has had a female miller for many years and, I believe, still does. So I have added the word commercial to the above phrase. I'm not sure it exactly communicates what is intended, but it is the best I can think of right now. Please feel free to improve. -- Chris j wood 12:33, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
