Replication (metallography)Replication (microscopy) – I would like to expand this article to include metallographic and biological replication techniques for microscopy, including a discussion of the materials, the various types of replication (single, two stepped), what is imaged (the replica or its coat), and the types of finishing for electron microscopy (different metals, limits or resolution), the various types of microscopes used (light, TEM, SEM), the limits. And expansion to include biology is realistic, but the name is highly limiting. I don't see that an article should be limited to metallogaphy as the technique was advanced significantly to include so many materials, but the technique was developed from metallography. 68.127.234.159 (talk) 20:12, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
