Badly formatted article[edit]

This article is not well formatted, but includes a wealth of information about Simon's founding of Reston. I need somebody to find his exact birthday, and a bit more information about Simon's early life. I have been searching Google for this information to no avail. But luckily for me I live in Reston, and I will try to find the needed info in Reston Regional Library. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BLM Platinum (talkcontribs) 17:02, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting picture of Simon[edit]

This article had a picture of the bronze statue of Robert E. Simon sitting on a park bench at Lake Anne. However, it was deleted in early 2011 because it included "[n]o authorship/copyright information/use rationale for depicted 3D artwork". Can we get a Reston-area Wikipedian to zip over to Lake Anne, snap a digital photo of the statue, upload it to Wikimedia Commons, and fill out this info (especially the Creative Commons license that enables Wikimedia to use it)? Alternatively, if anyone can find a public domain image of Simon, they can upload it to Commons. (There are plenty of images on the web, but I didn't immediately see any that were obviously public domain or free-licensed.) Thanks. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 03:00, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
