According to Wikipedia:MUSIC#Criteria for musicians and ensembles, I think this article at least conforms to the following criterion:

  • 1. Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent from the musician or ensemble itself:
As appeared in references section and also press page at his website.
  • 7. Has become one of the most prominent representatives of a notable style or the most prominent of the local scene of a city:
Representatives of styles like RIO and avant-garde classical chamber in Iran where rock genre is not prevalent. (Source) --Moon1965 (talk) 12:54, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Improving references[edit]

still not reliable for wikipedia, for a bold statement like that you need refrences from big magazines something like allmusic. Spada II ♪♫ (talk) 07:48, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I doubt if reliability of a source is dependent on its position on indie/commercial spectrum - However that none of Harmonie Magazine, artrock.pl or Progwereld are indie publications. | Even if comparing one's guitar playing to a specific musician is bold, the neutrality still depends on the tone - which in this case seems neutral. | About Crimson reference another reference added from Music Street Journal by Gary Hill - who is an allmusic editor. So I removed its unreliable tag. --Moon1965 (talk) 10:46, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
removed unreliable tag for Digg* reference. See Digg* at nl:Digg* --Moon1965 (talk) 11:39, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I was invited here via a post on my talk page. Sorry I didn't comment earlier. Anyways, I think that this page might (but not necessarily is) notable. He is tied with the band Arashk, and has his own solo career. However, does he pass WP:N#MUSIC? I'm not entirely sure about that, due to the band and his solo career not being tied with a label. Also, the sourcing could always use a little extra help, as some of the sources are not entirely reliable by Wikipedia's standards (ie: Sea of Tranquility). I would not have this page get deleted as a first resort, but if it does end up being deleted, then so be it. Backtable Speak to meconcerning my deeds. 08:24, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
