Notability[edit]

Harry Turtledove is a major and widely read writer in his field, and is considered "The Master of Alternative History". Nearly all his other novels already have Wikipedia pages. This specific novel has a special position in the field of Fantasy in being set in an equivalent of the present-day United States, with magic taking the place of modern technology. All of this make the novel notable enough to merit a page. Andreas Kaganov (talk) 14:56, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • What matters is establishing notability for THIS book, not for him, not for his other books. Many authors have pages on themselves, and on some of their books, but each article has to establish notability independently, using reliable sources about THIS book, not others or the author. I figured it was at least possible, hence the tag instead of a PROD or CSD for now. Dennis Brown (talk) 17:42, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Perkunas?[edit]

While Perkunas is instrumental in the rescue of Judith Adler, the defeat of the deities at the spell dump is handled by the Garuda bird, a sort of cross between an Indian deity and a space shuttle.TychaBrahe (talk) 21:56, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct. I removed that incorrect data. 67.245.208.219 (talk) 01:36, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
