This makes not enough sense to be included..... what cost of reproduction? Has to be mentioned in the text or it is irrelevant. Model system for what? Why are the two clutches important....

"Urosaurus have been used as a model system in lizard life-history studies, and populations produce two or more clutches of eggs per year.[2][3] Field studies have also shown a cost of reproduction in a natural New Mexico population of the species Urosaurus ornatus.[4]" Avram Primack (talk) 21:43, 29 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
