I uploaded a new picture of Ye Old Fighting Cocks and I took the liberty of putting the new picture at the top, just because it shows the name of the pub. If I have p***ed anyone off, please feel free to move the pictures around again. Legis 18:28, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If this really is the oldest pub in Britain, when are we claiming it was founded? A few dates seem to be thrown around here, but its not clear which (if any) is supposed to be the important one Woscafrench (talk) 01:04, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I can't believe this question still has not been answered, more than two years after it was first posted. I wondered exactly the same thing after reading the article, "So, how old is it?", and came here expecting to start a new thread. I guess nobody cares much about this pub if no one bothers to furnish such basic information when asked. I vote for declaring the Burger King in Leicester Square the oldest pub in Britain, assuming no one will bother to challenge me.--Jim10701 (talk) 01:53, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
