Catholic Church: a saint or not?[edit]
The Council of Trent has approved a "Cross of Saint Zacharias of Jerusalem", still in use today, which seems to imply that he is considered to be a saint also in the West, but that cannot be stated as fact unless we find a source positively stating his canonisation by Rome.
