Hossein Ali Mirza

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: No - I checked the source, and it says, "Relations between Fars and Muscat were conducted by personal contract and sealed through marriage. It was a dangerous approach, and an insult delivered through the Imam of Muscat's wife, or the incitement of Farmanfarma's wives, were apparently able to threaten a war with Muscat." The source doesn't mention details of an incident and doesn't mention the year that is given for the hook, so I think the source is just referring to a hypothetical situation. I suggest a new hook, or a new source should be provided to verify the information.
  • Interesting: Yes
QPQ: None required.

Overall: I did an extensive copyedit of the article while reviewing it and added tags next to statements that needed more information or clarification. Discussion is ongoing on the talk page to resolve these. I won't improve the article until the tags are resolved. Please ping when you are ready for a re-review. Amir Ghandi I see you added an ALT1 hook above. I posted a change in its wording below as ALT2. Let me know what you think. Also, the citation needed and other tags need to be fixed and removed before this DYK can be approved. Please ping me when this has occured. Z1720 (talk) 13:00, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
ALT 2: ... that the court of Hossein Ali Mirza, governor of Fars, was compared to the courts of Ottoman Sultans due to its large and extravagant festivals? Aghazadeh, Jafar (2020). Z1720 alright just a question, can i remove tags myself?Amir Ghandi (talk) 13:05, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
Amir Ghandi yes you can, but only after you have added the citation to replace the tag. Z1720 (talk) 13:29, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
Amir Ghandi I fixed the last clarification needed tag and did another copyedit. I think it's ready to pass. Do you agree to ALT 2 being used as the hook? Z1720 (talk) 17:45, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
