Poliçan, Gjirokastër[edit]

Created by Alexikoua (talk). Self nominated at 20:36, 7 February 2015 (UTC).

  • "Home to" -- what does that mean? EEng (talk) 05:18, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
  • The article is new (newly fivefold expanded) and long enough (3,307 characters). Its within the policy. The hook is not too long (129 characters). --Antidiskriminator (talk) 12:22, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
Since my question didn't get answered, I'm striking hook to emphasize that I don't understand what it means, nor can I discern from the article: is it where polyphonia originated, or just where it's done a lot now? EEng (talk) 14:24, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
(edit conflict) The hook is cited and interesting. (the above question regarding "home to" wording should be replied). Instead of the striking hook it is better to use recommended template {{subst:DYK?}}. --Antidiskriminator (talk) 15:25, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
Since it's unlikely to be used in its current form, and fixing it in place would make nonsense of the posts so far, it's indeed a good idea to strike it. Whoever fixes it should do that by creating an ALT1. EEng (talk) 15:47, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
Polyphonic singing is part of the town's musical tradition, thus, I've made the appropriate adjustments in the article. Alt. hook:
Thanks. Good to go, AGF for non-English sources.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 22:21, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
