I am stucked by

non-specific adsorption (binding) of drugs

to the system that I am working on now. The system requires tubing to connect a reservoir and a cell-containing device. When I add drugs to the reservoir, and pump to the cells, nearly 100% of the drugs got trapped to the plastic tubing. How am I going to send drugs to the cells? This brings me here... looking for some basic information about drugs, specifically for Pharmacokinetics data.

I am now looking for methods to modify the surface of the lumen side of the tubing so that it becomes more hydrophilic.....such as PEG grafting by chemical reactions, or plasma treatments (this involves expensive instrument).
