Hi folks. I've only posted a couple times to Wikipedia talk pages, never to the actual pages. I LOVE Wikipedia, despite its flaws, and feel the need to voice my opinion in this incredible community, to help improve it where I can.

What can I can offer this community? I have special English language writing skills that give me the ability to clearly and accurately communicate complex concepts. I especially hope to improve accurate and understandable information delivery in science, religion and international culture. My personal and formal education, at University and on my own, don't just prepare me for this venture: They require it. I apologize for taking so long to decide to participate more fully in this community. Long before I even thought about joining it, I was exposed to the tone of some of the debate. I am not Comic Book Guy. I see my role as the fluent English writer who can help change a phrase or two here or there to make things more understandable. You will probably see me first in articles on Asian food, or other places where it is clear to me what the author meant, but the wording was awkward. I'll start with fixing articles that seem to be authored by folk for whom English is a second language...
I am very happy to hear criticism, especially if I fail to adhere to Wikipedia guidelines. It's tough, though, you know? There are not too many issues I care about enough about to aquire print references for anymore... Foxpoet (talk) 03:38, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
