‘‘Even the largest avalanche is triggered by small things.’’ Vernor Vinge

Hello,

I am a United States Army Soldier. I graduated cum laude in Economics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, December 2009. My interests include science-fiction, economics, politics, philosophy, personal fitness, technology, and popular science. I plan on finishing my 3 year stint (a.k.a. gap years) then pursue a legal education afterwards. Preferably relating to High Technology and Law, something akin to the program at Santa Clara University.

My favorite authors are Vernor Vinge, Robert Heinlein, Robert Nozick, and Ayn Rand (as a novelist, not a philosopher). My approach to economics that kept me sane and intellectually curious, during my years of study, were significantly influenced from Austrian Economics and the Libertarian movement.

As for publications, I read The American Scholar, The Economist, and Wired magazine.

I'm not a troll or totalitarian when it comes to editing, if I feel an article needs substantial edits then I will provide my reasons why in discussions. If it is a nominal edit, I will include my reason for doing so in the summary line.

Me in Ft. Lauderdale.
