Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to 2024 in aviation, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. There is an existing, inconclusive discussion on Talk:2024 in aviation. The onus is on you to add your point of view to that discussion and wait until consensus is reached before removing the maintenance templates again.

You can't just decide things unilaterally on wikipedia. You are entitled and even encouraged to make bold edits, sure, but if you are reverted (and especially if reverted by more than one editor) you should discuss the edits before reinstating them, per WP:BRD. Not everything needs to be included in Wikipedia just because it is true or it has made the news. There are hundreds of GA accidents, hundreds of tail strikes, hundreds of minor runway excursions, hundreds of one-engine-out emergency landings with no casualties, and other such run-of-the-mill incidents every year. If we were to add anything and everything aviation-related that happens during the year, we'd be left with a useless mess that would interest almost nobody. If we consider the encyclopedic value of what we add, we'll hopefully end up with something useful when we look back on these pages a few years after the event.
