If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. • Hello User:Anarchyte and thank you for your concern. I read the username policy before I created my account and chose the name specifically because it complies with the 4th bullet under the "Usernames implying shared use" section. Therefore I did not think it would violate any terms. If any other users feel that it is inappropriate then I would be happy to submit a username change form. Best regards. @Adamatalghanimindustries: Hello. I think you may have misread the username policy. Accounts are not allowed to represent companies, as listed in WP:ISU. Anarchyte (work | talk) 11:53, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Anarchyte: As stated in the 4th bullet of WP:ISU:
However, usernames are acceptable if they contain a company or group name but are clearly intended to denote an individual person, such as "Mark at WidgetsUSA", "Jack Smith at the XY Foundation", "WidgetFan87", etc.

@Anarchyte:I think the name is intended to be "Adam at alghanim industries". 331dot (talk) 12:41, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Adamatalghanimindustries: Regardless of your username, you will need to review the conflict of interest policy before continuing to edit about your company; generally one should not directly edit in areas where they have a COI, instead suggesting changes on the talk page first to get consensus from uninvolved editors. If you are editing here as part of your job, or otherwise being paid by the company, Wikipedia's Terms of Use require you to clearly state your paid association on your user page(or this page). See WP:PAID for more information. 331dot (talk) 12:44, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@331dot:Hello, my intention was to be as transparent as possible when it came to making the edits on the page. If you think it would help to change my username to "Adam at alghanim industries" then I shall do so. I am fairly new to the community, and any help or pointers I can get would be deeply appreciated. The company's page is quite outdated, and I wanted to update it while adhering to a neutral tone. I believe all the edits I made are cited correctly and do not contain any promotional content for the company. Adamatalghanimindustries (talk) 13:47, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Adamatalghanimindustries: I don't believe you need to change your name as it does seem compliant with the username policy. It might be clearer to others if you added spaces- but that's up to you; anyone concerned will see this discussion if they come here to ask you about it. Regarding your edits, I haven't reviewed them fully so I cannot yet comment on them. My only request was for you to review the policies I linked to above, especially WP:PAID if you are employed by the company. The more open you are about your COI and the more you solicit outside comment about your edits, the fewer issues you will have. 331dot (talk) 14:21, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
If you are interested in changing your name, you don't need to start over; you can go to this page for instructions on how to change your name. 331dot (talk) 14:29, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @B-bot, thank you for the information. I uploaded the file with the intention of replacing the current logo on the Alghanim Industries page, but due to my COI, I wasn't sure if I would be able to change it myself. Would you be able to help me do so or tell me if I can do it myself? Thank you. Adam at Alghanim Industries (talk) 06:50, 31 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
