Women in Red[edit]

Hi there, Beodizia, and welcome to Women in Red. You have certainly made an impressive start on Wikipedia with five well presented new articles in one day, including four fascinating biographies of women. As you seem to have no difficulty with Wikipedia editing, there is little assistance I can offer apart perhaps from recommending you look through our Primer for creating women's biographies. I certainly look forward to many more articles about obscure but nonetheless notable women. Please let me know if ever you run into difficulties. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 10:44, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Ipigott: Thank you! I'll look through the primer and be in touch if I encounter any problems :) Beodizia (talk) 11:18, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you![edit]

The Women in Red barnstar
Awarded to Beodizia for creating four detailed biographies of women within 24 hours of joining the Women in Red project. The articles are well presented, correctly sourced and cover women of notable historical interest. This is an exceptional achievement.--Ipigott (talk) 11:02, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Ipigott: Many thanks! Beodizia (talk) 11:18, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Drafting new articles[edit]

I've noticed you have been creating new articles in your sandbox and copying the text to article space. It is much easier to create drafts in your user space, using the sequence User:Beodizia/article name. When you have finished editing the draft, you can then move it to article space using the Move function which is listed under More at the top of the page. Please let me know if you have any difficulties with this.--Ipigott (talk) 06:44, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Ipigott: I didn't realize it was possible to move from user space to article space, thank you! I will try this out with my next one. Beodizia (talk) 08:15, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There are lots of little tricks on Wikipedia. It takes a while to become familiar with them all.--Ipigott (talk) 09:58, 31 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrolled granted[edit]

Hi Beodizia, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed' and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned prolific creators of articles where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.

Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.

I offer the following feedback: When writing about European (especially British) topics, it would be better to use British English than American English.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Schwede66 02:26, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Schwede66: Thank you! I'll be sure to maintain my current standard and I'll keep in mind using British English for future European articles. Beodizia (talk) 13:32, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Hadis Najafi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vanity Fair. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

DYK for Kebab pizza[edit]

On 11 October 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Kebab pizza, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that in 2021, two Swedish prison inmates took correctional officers as hostages, demanding twenty kebab pizzas? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kebab pizza. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Kebab pizza), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Women in Red 8th Anniversary[edit]

Women in Red 8th Anniversary
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary!
