The article Adalya Artside has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability, no reliable sources that are independent of the hotel itself. If we consider it an organization or company, it's eligible for speedy deletion; as a building it's not; thus going a somewhat slower route. I didn't find any additional useful sources in a Google News search, and only booking portals and the like in a Google Web search.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello Huon! Sorry, if I did something wrong! I saw this page first: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Hotels_in_Turkey_by_city. This page is not created by me. I am sure that wikipedia have to have more Turkish hotels on this page, but I am novice, and that is why I am asking help. Anyway, Turkey has many hotels, and I think that many of them are notable hotels. It is just impossible to put all things in the article immediately. And I want to assure you that I didn't want to promote this particular hotel. :)
It seemed to me that the more hotels we have in wikipedia the better. That is all. BigSugarDaddy 18:25, 7 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've replied on the article's talk page. Let's keep the discussion in one place. Huon (talk) 18:37, 7 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Non-neutral references[edit]

Hello BigSugarDaddy, By chance I recently came by the article about the Khama Rhino Sanctuary you created. I noticed that you base the entire article on sources influenced by the subject itself, which can possibly not be neutral. For certain facts those sources are useful (e.g. an creation date), but for others they should be backed up with neutral sources with no direct connection to the reserve (e.g. statements about the rarity of rhinos). I went looking in your contributions-list and found several articles where you used similar, untrustworthy references. This included websites of the subjects themself, but also travel-websites. What they had in common is that they don't cite enough sources to back up certain statements.

I would advice you to take a look at this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Identifying_reliable_sources . In case you still need help I would advice you to contact an admin, as they have much more experience in both explaining and doing this stuff. Further I want to say that nevertheless I appreciate your energy put into contributing to wikipedia.Jarne Colman (talk) 22:44, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Jarne Colman, hello! Yes, I understand, that it would be much better if I put neutral references in the article. But this rhino sanctuary is both quite new and quite small, and it is hard to find such kind of references. What I can assure you, that I did my best. It will be very good If someone else add these references to the article. Regards, BigSugarDaddy 06:00, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Note that if you cannot find such neutral, third-party references for a subject, it may not be notable, and thus the subject may not warrant its own article. No subject deserves an article merely because it exists. Note that sources do not need to be in English (see WP:NONENG), but they should still be reliable, for example books, magazines, or newspapers with a reputation for fact-checking and an editorial process. See WP:SOURCE and WP:NOTRELIABLE for ideal and poor sources. Also, 1992 is not "quite new". --Animalparty! (talk) 06:27, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please upload free images to Commons.[edit]

Thank you for uploading free images/media to Wikipedia! As you may know, there is another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please upload media there instead (see m:Help:Unified login). That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view your previous uploads). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading!

Also, please give some thought to writing better descriptions of uploaded images. This ensures that they can be used. It also helps those that review and improve categories do a better job, which also ensures that images will get used in novel and interesting ways. Where did you take the picture? What is in it? The photographs you upload might eventually be used in multiple different articles or projects. For example File:A rhinoceros.jpg is a very vague title (there are five living species of rhinoceros), and the description "A rhino" is both redundant and uninformative. The only clue to where this photograph may have been taken is that you added the photo to Khama Rhino Sanctuary. If the photo gets removed from the article, that clue is lost. A more helpful descriptive (or title) might be "White rhinoceros in Khama Rhino Sanctuary, photographed in 2017", which would allow other people looking for images of white rhinoceroses, and/or animals from the Khama Rhino Sanctuary or Botswana, to more easily find and use the image. I have moved File:A Zemba woman.jpg to Commons, but without more complete description, I cannot confidently categorize the file into anything narrower than Category:Women of Africa. The good news is that it's very easy to edit file descriptions to add details (changing file names is done less often). If you have any questions on editing or uploading, you can ask at the Help desk, the Teahouse, or type {{help me}} here on your Talk page, and someone will answer your question shortly. Cheers! --Animalparty! (talk) 06:54, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with File:The statue of Lalith William Samarasekera Athulathmudali.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:The statue of Lalith William Samarasekera Athulathmudali.jpg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:06, 12 December 2018 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones  (Talk) 18:06, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
