Μιλάμε για το 1971 που όπως γνωρίζεις τα γήπεδα δεν είχαν αριθμημένες θέσεις και τις περισσότερες φορές ήταν υπεράριθμα και ιδίως το Καραϊσκάκη με αποτέλεσμα τις γνωστές συνέπειες με τη Θύρα 7 αργότερα. Αν και εμένα μου φαίνεται λίγο τσιμπημένο το νούμερο σίγουρα στο γήπεδο είχε παραβιαστεί κάθε όριο χωρητικότητας και εφόσον δεν υπάρχει άλλη πηγή η ΦΙΦΑ είναι αυτή τη στιγμή η πιο έγκυρη.

The article says that the first Greek Cup took place in the year 1966 and also says that Aris B.C. and AEK B.C. won the 1966 and 1969 cups, using a Catalan Basketpedya source. That one and only (unreliable for me) source is a source, but I already put seven different official and independent sources proving that this never happened:

Official Greek Basketball Federation Site (in Greek) doesn't say something like that.
Aris B.C. official site (in English) doesn't say something like that.
AEK B.C. Official site (in Greek) doesn't say something like that. Also:
The-Sports.org (in English) doesn't say something like that.
Contra.gr (in Greek) doesn't say something like that.
Sport.gr (in Greek) doesn't say something like that.
Superbasket.gr (in Greek) doesn't say something like that.

And I'm wondering:

Why the one and only source is accepted and those seven different official and independent sources (except the Official Greek Basketball Federation Site who says different things!) are not accepted in the article?
Why all the rest editions of Wikipedia (Greek, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Finnish) don't say those things?

I have seen that you edited some volleyball articles. Some players articles, most of them looks outdated. I would like to improve players by country. Could you please choose a country to contribute with? Please take a look on Yekaterina Gamova, Hélia Souza, Serena Ortolani and Kenia Carcaces for a model to follow. Τα στοιχεία περί συγχώνευσης Πανθρακικού και Ξυλαγανής τα άντλησα από το Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation, υπάρχει η σχετική παραπομπή Νο6. Έχω μερικές αμφιβολίες για τα γεγονότα της εποχής, αλλά το μόνο γραπτό στοιχείο που βρήκα είναι η συγκεκριμένη παραπομπή, που δέχομαι αναγκαστικά. Από την δική μου, συγκεχυμένη ανάμνηση της εποχής υπήρχε πριν την συγχώνευση αυτή και μία ακόμη με τον Αστέρα Αιγείρου, αλλά δεν υπάρχουν στοιχεία. Αναφέρομαι για την περίοδο 1998-2001 κατά την οποία ο Πανθρακικός δεν συμμετείχε αυτόνομα σε κανένα πρωτάθλημα. Αν έχεις στοιχεία που μπορούν να στηριχτούν με παραπομπές σε γραπτά και αρχεία θα σου ήμουν ευγνώμων να κάνεις προσθήκες και διορθώσεις στο εν λόγω άρθρο. Αγαπητέ φίλε διάβασα τα στοιχεία που παρέθεσες και σ' ευχαριστώ πολύ. Μ' αυτά θα συμπληρωθούν κενά στην διαδρομή του Πανθρακικού λίγο πριν το 2000, όταν η ομάδα ήταν παρατημένη και απαξιωμένη. Επίσης έχεις δίκιο και για το "Ορφέας Ξυλαγανής", κι εγώ αυτό ήξερα αλλά αναγκάστηκα να χρησιμοποιήσω την αναφορά του Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (Alexander Mastrogiannopoulos). Δημήτρη είδα τα στοιχεία, θα τα προσθέσω ευχαρίστως. Τώρα κατά την γνώμη μου υπάρχει "conflict" στο έτος ίδρυσης. Το κοινά αποδεκτό είναι 1963 με συγχώνευση ΑΕ Κομοτηνής και Ορφέα Κομοτηνής. Αλλά το RSSSF αναφέρει χρονιά συγχώνευσης 1964. Επίσης το 1963-64 αναφέρεται αυτοδύναμη παρουσία του Ορφέα Κομοτηνής. Αν έχεις κάτι που ξεκαθαρίζει τα γεγονότα... Users that keep saying AEK Athens B.C. won Greek Championship in 1925[edit]

There are these users that keep saying on the Greek Basket League page and on the AEK Athens B.C. page that the team on the Greek Championship in 1925 - even though the championship did not start until 2 years later.

Do you know how to fix Big Sofo's name on the Greek article[edit]

Sofoklis Schortsanitis' name is spelled like this on the Greek article, Σοφοκλής Σχορτσιανίτης. But it should be spelled like this, Σοφοκλής Σχορτσανίτης. Do you know how to fix it? I tried moving the page, but it won't let me because the article with that name is already there as a redirect and it is not allowing it to move. World Cup articles[edit]

It may be different for earlier World Cups (I don't know, I haven't researched), but when the entire squad is available as substitutes, we only list the ones who came on.
