Måns Zelmerlöw

Please don not undo my changes to the Måns Zelmerlöw discography page; it was extremely rude of you to take 5 seconds to undo all of my changes, which took me hours to research.

Since you are not from Sweden, it's easy for you to dismiss it. The DigiListan chart is an official chart in Sweden, and it's not "unnecessary" chart. When Sverige ToppListant began including streaming onto their charts, iTunes Sweden stopped reporting their sales date to ToppListan as a protest. DigiListan utilizes sales reports from all digital stores only, while ToppListan utilized sales reports from all digital stores (except iTunes) plus physical sales (although the physical singles market is almost non-existent these days) plus streaming.

It's very common for a single to debut, reach No. 1, and drop off the chart on DigiListan without said single ever charting on ToppListan. So as you can see both charts are important. — Preceding unsigned comment added by NotLoveland (talkcontribs) 19:41, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

Template:Citation

Hi Eurohunter. I dont know in what context you are inquiring about Template:Citation. I know its daunting reading and vey long but informative. Me personally I basically use 2-3 types of citations only... BTW I loved the musical materials you have put for "The Final Victory" and "History Will Be Written". I recently launched my own Top 200 weekly chart with songs from all over the world at http://www.1wxrld.com Check a few songs if you have time. werldwayd (talk) 22:41, 8 November 2015 (UTC)

I have visited the Basshunter page and there are excellent citation examples there you can follow and adapt for further citations. I really want to help you, but I don't know how to go by it. If you could be more specific in what you actually need for the page. Thanks. werldwayd (talk) 16:27, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
5 and 16 are very similar and either can be used. The end result is exactly the same when you compare what actually appears in the references. By the way, as many people edit the page or any page for that matter, various styles will be used even on the same Wikipedia page. The point is to be consistent yourself in your own references. What's also important is to fill in the text are {citations needed} which occur 11-12 times. These are eyesores and need to be filled in and the {citations needed} replaced with proper referencing. werldwayd (talk) 19:55, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

Lap record

Lap record has a specific definition. The reason why lap times from practice and private testing do not count is because the cars do not have to be scruitineered and declared they are legal. Anyone could build a cheater car purely to grab the lap record.

Lap record has always been defined as the fastest lap recorded in a motor race. It should not be confused with the fastest lap ever recorded at a venue. --Falcadore (talk) 00:44, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

Fastest ever lap just isn't noteworthy. Receives no official recognition and only gathers media interest under special circumstances. --Falcadore (talk) 11:30, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

Faded (Alan Walker song)

Hello Eurohunter, I've been away from Wikipedia for a couple of months, so I've just seen the message you left on WikiProject Songs asking why copying and pasting "salesref" and "certref" to this article doesn't work. I assume you are talking about the Finnish certification: you can't just copy and paste because if you look at Template:Certification Table Entry you will see that the field entry requirements are different for each country. Richard3120 (talk) 17:39, 29 March 2016 (UTC)

Sean Paul discography and Portuguese peaks

No, I removed the certifications for songs in countries whose columns are not on the page. The certifications column on discography pages, per Wikipedia standard, should only contain the certifications for the countries that have a column on that page. Italy and Sweden's chart positions aren't on there, so nor should their certifications be. It clogs up the page. Just like there should only be 10 columns on discographies, the certifications should match those 10 columns included.

As for the Portuguese peaks, the archive for its singles chart on Hung Medien is only recent, so that's probably why you can't find Stromae's peaks on there. You can cite acharts for it I guess, but only if you can't find a better source, as it has been know to be somewhat incorrect before. Ss112 17:02, 19 April 2016 (UTC)

(talk page stalker)@Eurohunter:@Ss112: Citing Portuguese singles charts is tricky, as singles have never sold well in that country. As far as I know, AFP (Portugal's official record industry body) only formed in 1989, so I don't know how official or reliable any charts before this year are. There were official AFP singles charts from 1989 to 1993, which were then discontinued; the singles chart was restarted in July 2000 but dropped again in March 2004; and then only restarted this year as a digital singles chart compiled by AC Nielsen. I think all Portuguese singles data between March 2004 and December 2015 are the charts you find on Euro200/APC (the chart on acharts.us is just a copy of the Euro200/APC chart), and this chart is considered unreliable for use on Wikipedia – see WP:BADCHARTS, so I don't think you should use the acharts data either. To be honest, the Portuguese market is so insignificant it really doesn't matter if it is not included on an artist's discography.
As for certifications, these are even harder to find: the certification levels in Portugal used to be ridiculously high. The platinum level for singles used to be 100,000 sales, but often a single could reach number one by selling just a few hundred copies, so it was almost impossible for any single to gain a certification. Yes I can do that but there's nothing I'm looking for. There are archives for past years such as 2002 but I need the list of certifications given out in Sweden this year, not in 2000 or 2002. But thanks anyway;) ArturSik (talk) 19:53, 12 June 2016 (UTC)

Is Album

"_____ is album by the American band" -- is not proper English. It's "_____ is an album by American band", notice no "the American band". Also, it should probably be noted what number of album it is. "______ is the third studio album by American band", etc. just letting you know. --Jennica / talk 11:30, 7 December 2016 (UTC)

External links

You don't have to directly source things like the track listing and personnel since every album would have such things and can be found from primary sources, such as the album itself. iTunes, Amazon, Discogs, and Allmusic (when there is no review) are simply providing these details but do not represent actual coverage the album. Listing them as references gives the appearance of padding an article with sources that don't actually establish any notability whatsoever, so by listing them as external links, it just shows where this general album info can be found. Thanks. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 17:39, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

Re: Magnus (Audiomachine album)

The question is, would it be meaningful to bring back the old history? Since the old and newer article seem virtually the same, I am not sure if it's important. It can just be left like it is. However, if it's important for any reason to bring back the old history, it's possible to delete the new article to make way for the old one. Is there any rationale to do this? —Ynhockey (Talk) 09:37, 25 April 2018 (UTC)

  • @RHaworth: Yes but I wanted to clean it because them are really wrong/false. Eurohunter (talk) 14:21, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

So give me a list of those that you claim are "really wrong/false". Note also that if you are wanting them deleted under R3, that deletion criterion includes a "recent" condition so do not bother to nominate any redirect which is more than, say, twelve months old. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:29, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

@RHaworth: What do you mean by I'm connected to Richhoncho? — Eurohunter (talk) 18:37, 20 October 2018 (UTC)

You both seem obsessed with trying to get rid of perfectly innocent music redirects. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:43, 20 October 2018 (UTC)

@RHaworth: Didn't knew but definitelly not then. These incorrect/false redirects are not innocent. They perpetuate (I'm not sure if it's right word) wrong/false titles. If title is not in the article and has no source should be deleted as WP:OR in other way everyone will create any false/wrong redirects (spam). Eurohunter (talk) 19:32, 20 October 2018 (UTC)

Basshunter article

Hi @Eurohunter:, I did an initial edit. I left some comments as some of the content may not be accurate (particularly mentions of selling records "in excess"). --Tenryuu (🐲💬🌟) 03:58, 30 October 2018 (UTC)

@Tenryuu:
  1. "Please change this if my translation is incorrect" - is it needed to mention for what artist was awarded? It looks like exception in this case. Eurohunter (talk) 08:14, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
  2. "Is this necessary information?" - I don't know. "time passed" is something different than "progressed", which means progression in what he was doing. Eurohunter (talk) 08:14, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
  3. I didn't removed details about him being signed on to music agencies yet. Should I do it? Eurohunter (talk) 08:14, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
  4. "Appears redundant" - I wanted to mention this becasue "DotA" means new 2007 version but is also name for 2006 version of "Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA" released on 2008 album include intro from music video and background bells in the first part of song. Eurohunter (talk) 08:14, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
  5. "looking at the source page that is the cumulative number of copies sold, both physical and digital" - i'ts cumulative like in many cases. Eurohunter (talk) 08:14, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
  6. "Reference points to another song, not "Now You're Gone"" - yes, the information is given in the description. Eurohunter (talk) 08:14, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
  7. I will replace Discogs sources. Eurohunter (talk) 08:14, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
  8. ""I Can Walk on Water" was renamed "Walk on Water"" - "Walk on Water" is different than "I Can Walk on Water". It's not exact copy. Eurohunter (talk) 08:14, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
  9. "Emely Ljungqvist was Basshunter's girlfriend in January 2010" - I don't think she was his girlfriend in 2010. Eurohunter (talk) 08:14, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
  10. "Virtual Studio Technology plugin" - it's not plugin. Virtual Studio Technology it's term for plugins used in FL Studio like V-Station or Nexus. Eurohunter (talk) 08:14, 30 October 2018 (UTC)

I gues so but there is no any dates for this information and in beginnings section it looks wrong. Eurohunter (talk) 08:28, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
  4. Still the same song but tweaked a little. Trimmed down the wording.
I added album title. Eurohunter (talk) 08:28, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
  5. Yes, but I was more concerned about the use of the phrase "in excess," as in more records were sold than some expected number.
Ill check all sales results and adjust them. Eurohunter (talk) 08:28, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
  6. So which one made it to third most viewed video on Youtube? "Now You're Gone" or "I Miss You"?
"Now You're Gone". Eurohunter (talk) 08:28, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
  7. K.
Done Eurohunter (talk) 08:28, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
  8. Looking up "Walk on Water" on Youtube gives me video results "I Can Walk on Water" and "Walk on Water." Both phrases are used to title the same song.
It is obvious that it is modification (sounds different) but how to determine when new song begins? It's similar case so "Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA" (2006) and "DotA" (2007). I listed both "I Can Walk on Water" and "Walk on Water" on list of the songs same as "Boten Anna" and "Now You're Gone" which share instrumental (modified). Eurohunter (talk) 08:28, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
  9. I'm not sure how Emely is particularly notable to Basshunter's life. I feel like it should be removed.
Done Eurohunter (talk) 08:28, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
  10. Re-read the page for Virtual Studio Technology and reworded it as a plugin interface.

Hey @Eurohunter:, I finished the last bits of copyediting. Hope it works for you. --Tenryuu (🐲💬🌟) 23:09, 5 November 2018 (UTC)

@Tenryuu: Thanks. I will let you know if I encounter on some issue while finishing the article. Eurohunter (talk) 23:12, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
Hi. I did some very minor additional ce, mostly MOS fixes like: spaces and commas at refs and quotes, commas to close parenthetic statements, four-digit years, and consistency of numbers. A couple notes:
  • When giving chart ratings it's better to use a consistent format with numbers expressed as either numerals or words, rather than a mix of both. This is because readers are likely to want to compare chart rankings in the prose and having the format consistent makes this easier. (Some editors also like to use No. for number.)
  • While some parenthetics (usually lyrics) are part of a song title, that usually isn't the case with mixes which are versions of a song. So with "DotA (Club Mix)" you might put (Club Mix) outside of the quotes. Similarly, punctuation normally goes outside of the quotes per the logical quotation system (MOS:LQ) which does take a little getting used to.
  • You might want to check the quote "it's so much more interesting and different when someone else is singing in a song he has written" which seems a little odd. It's supposed to be from the subject but then says "he has written" like it's someone else talking about him.
Also, I wanted to remind you that since this copy edit is complete, you can add another request at WP:GOCER. – Reidgreg (talk) 18:17, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
@Reidgreg: Thanks. I will check it (may take some time). I noticed that you changed "internet" to capital letter. I read that you can write internet without capitalisation. It was about two years ago. Eurohunter (talk) 19:05, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
It is generally used with the definite article the and treated as a proper noun. Autopatrolled granted

Hi Eurohunter, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Basshunter discography

@Baffle gab1978: Thanks. Are you sure that "Angel in the Night" should be linked twice in the lead? What about albums? Eurohunter (talk) 15:51, 17 November 2018 (UTC)
I'm sorry, I must have missed that link; I'll go back an fix it.  Done but I can't find any album titles that are linked twice; thanks for the heads-up. :) Cheers, Baffle gab1978 19:01, 17 November 2018 (UTC)
@Baffle gab1978: I wondering how to change The album's first single was a re-recording of "Boten Anna" titled "Now You're Gone"; its lyrics were entirely rewritten to appeal to a foreign market. because detailed story is that "Boten Anna" was re-recorded by Mental Theo and released under Bazzheadz name (he also changed lyrics make it unrelated to the original lyrics) and sung by Sebastian Westwood then in 2007 Basshunter made deal with him to make own, shorter version of this re-recording for international market. Eurohunter (talk) 11:20, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
@Baffle gab1978: Looks like notification didn't worked. Eurohunter (talk) 23:27, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
@IntoThinAir: Thanks. Could you help also in this case? This is the only missing thing for FL (how to add it to text from informations above). Eurohunter (talk) 17:41, 26 November 2018 (UTC)
Yeh sorry Eurohunter, , I've disabled notifications for the sake of my sanity, so it's pointless pinging me. None of the extra information on the cover version was in the article when I copy-edited it. I don't often return to articles I c/e but since I'm here, how about this?

The album's first single was "Now You're Gone", which uses the same music as "Boten Anna". "Now You're Gone" was first recorded by Mental Theo and vocalist Sebastian Westwood, who released it under the name Bazzheadz. In 2017, Basshunter re-recorded a shorter version of "Now You're Gone" song to appeal to international audiences.

Baffle gab1978 02:52, 28 November 2018 (UTC)
@Baffle gab1978: I can understand this point of view but anyway I'm satisfied with this answer. Thanks. Eurohunter (talk) 15:36, 28 November 2018 (UTC)

I have reverted your move

I have reverted your move of List of military equipment of the Canadian Army during the Second World War. As you will see from the article history there is no consensus for such a move. If you still feel it should be moved, then please raise it on the article talk page and seek consensus there. DuncanHill (talk) 23:21, 4 December 2018 (UTC)

@DuncanHill: Other articles from the category uses most common "World War II" variant. I couldn't find valid reason to not move the article in its history. Eurohunter (talk) 23:25, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
We also try to respect WP:ENGVAR. You can see from the history that the move was objected to. If you still think it should be moved, then seek consensus on the talk page. DuncanHill (talk) 23:33, 4 December 2018 (UTC)

Hello. I accepted your request at WP:GOCE/REQ to copy-edit List of songs recorded by Basshunter, and while most grammatical issues within the text has been finished, I did have some problems with the prose in the lead.

Suitably, in its current form, the lead is a list of singles Basshunter has put out, which can be improved in several manners. The lead should probably be rewritten to be shorter. I was thinking around three paragraphs: one to introduce the artist to the reader, one to summarize his musical career, and one to describe his partnerships.

I wanted to consult you, the main author of this article, before I do anything drastic. How would you go along editing the lead? The main priority is to cut down on the list of those singles and other peoples. Thanks! –eggofreasontalk 15:35, 12 December 2018 (UTC)

@EggOfReason: Thanks for your help. I focused on studio albums so I put mosts songs from these albums, singles and collaborations. I have no idaea how make it shorter. I think it could focus on singles and collaborations but still it's 21 singles to describe. This videography is based on the other featured videographies. You changed release date of LOL <(^^,)> album to 1 September 2006 but album was released on 28 August (source). Next there is "ABasshunter". I think it's mistake. Eurohunter (talk) 18:52, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
@Eurohunter: An example can be found at List of songs recorded by Jay-Z. It summarizes the basic information of the artist, while not going too in depth on the releases he made. I can make a basic draft of the lead, but you'll have to reference it. Thanks –eggofreasontalk 20:04, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
@EggOfReason: List of songs recorded by Jay-Z doesn't looks like good example (it has only two lines of lead). We have it in one sentence "He has recorded material for four studio albums, one extended play, two internet albums, and two compilation albums recording over 90 songs.". Eurohunter (talk) 20:43, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
@Eurohunter: When I mentioned the Jay-Z article, I didn't exactly use it as an example in the context of quality. The lead is suffering from length, and the Jay-Z lead, while flawed, shows how short it can be. The way I see it, the lead is not a list of everything he's put out, the lead is a summary of what he's put out. –eggofreasontalk 23:19, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
@EggOfReason: I moved beginings to the next paragraph. Check the article to see if you meant that. Eurohunter (talk) 09:36, 13 December 2018 (UTC)

Basshunter videography

@Baffle gab1978: Thanks for your help. I think I noticed few things to be fixed:
  1. "including involvement in nine episodes of the 23rd season of Never Mind the Buzzcocks" - it was episode nine of 23rd season. Eurohunter (talk) 12:44, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
  2. You lined both Gareth Evans and Farzad Bayat. I couldn't find more information about these persons so I think they are not meets notability criteria that's why I not linked them. Eurohunter (talk) 12:44, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
  3. You changed "over ten" to "eleven television shows". There is more than ten television shows in the table. Eurohunter (talk) 12:44, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
  4. "The deluxe edition of Basshunter's second studio album Now You're Gone – The Album" - I wanted here to say that track "Walk on Water" was released on the deluxe edition of album and was released as promotional video single. "includes the music videos for the tracks" - I wanted to say that music videos was released for these tracks from album like I did with previous and next albums. I wanted to avoid here to tell again "From his album album name (year), he released music videos for the singles". Eurohunter (talk) 12:52, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
Hi Eurohunter; thanks for your feedback; some of the text was unclear and I make my best guess of its meaning I'll reply to each point below:
  1. Thanks for clarifying that; the original text was " including involvement in nine episode of 23 season Never Mind the Buzzcocks" diff). Done.
  2. I'll happily remove these wililinks; I'd actually intended to rem the latter yesterday; c'est la vie. :) Done
  3. Yes, I counted them. Eleven (11) is one more than ten (10). Saying 'more than ten' is vague and the article can be updated if any other appearances occur.
I realised now I just made a mistake with a number eleven and number nine and it caused my doubts. Eurohunter (talk) 20:56, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
  1. Much of that paragraph was unclear; was "Walk on Water" the only video released on the deluxe album, and the other videos were released individually and were not on the album? I'm a bit tired now so I'll fix that later. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 20:13, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
"Walk on Water" was the track released on the deluxe edition (not music videio) but thing I wanna say here it just has music video and it is for single from this album. It's like music videos for "Boten Anna" and "Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA" which are singles from LOL <(^^,)>. Eurohunter (talk) 20:56, 12 December 2018 (UTC)
OK, so I can change it to "The music video fro "Walk on Water" was released as a promotional video single and was included in the deluxe edition of the album Now You're Gone – The Album. ? Baffle gab1978 06:38, 15 December 2018 (UTC)
@Baffle gab1978: Looks good. Remember to fix it as whole or I will just fix the rest. Eurohunter (talk) 16:34, 15 December 2018 (UTC)
No problem (and just noticed my typo above!), I'll fix that later tonight. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 21:32, 16 December 2018 (UTC)

()  Done; that text now reads as follows:

The deluxe edition of Basshunter's second studio album Now You're Gone – The Album (2008) includes the music video for the track "Walk on Water", which was also released as a promotional video single. A special version of Now You're Gone – The Album released in Poland contains a DVD that includes nine Basshunter music videos, including "Now You're Gone", "Please Don't Go", "All I Ever Wanted", "Angel in the Night", "I Miss You", all of which were directed by Alex Herron.

Cheers, Baffle gab1978 07:09, 17 December 2018 (UTC)

@Baffle gab1978: It's not exactly correct. It's my version. "The deluxe edition of Basshunter's second studio album Now You're Gone – The Album (2008) includes single "Walk on Water", which had released a promotional video single.". Eurohunter (talk) 17:41, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
Eurohunter, your English grammar is confused. In English we could write, '"Walk on Water" had been released', or "Walk on Water" was released', or even "Walk on Water", which had been released, but not '"Walk on Water" which had released'; it makes no sense in this context. We would only write which had released if the subject of the sentence has agency; i.e. it is a person, group or corporation. So we'd write something like; "Sony, which had released the single a week before, sold it to RCA." ; the single has no agency of its own—it cannot release itself.
Also, we write includes the single; you need to use an article word ('the' or 'a') between the verb "released" and the clause's object noun "single".
Anyway I'm done with the article; I've done my best to fix the grammar and to establish the facts of this paragraph. If my text is unsuitable, you're free to correct it yourself. Bye for now; good luck with your planned nomination. Regards, Baffle gab1978 09:22, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
@Baffle gab1978: Thanks. Eurohunter (talk) 16:57, 18 December 2018 (UTC)

DYK for Masterpiece (Basshunter song)

On 22 December 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Masterpiece (Basshunter song), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the lyrics of the 2018 Basshunter song "Masterpiece" quote lines from the 2009 video game League of Legends? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Masterpiece (Basshunter song). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Masterpiece (Basshunter song)), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. The Early Bedroom Sessions

@Baffle gab1978: Thanks. I noticed one issue. When I written "Electronic compilation was released (...)" I meant music genre so in case of soul music I would write "Soul compilation was released (...)". Eurohunter (talk) 10:02, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
No problem; I've mentioned the genre in the first sentence of the lead. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 21:07, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
@Baffle gab1978: Good idea but it should be in the text too (lead is a summary of article). Eurohunter (talk) 21:11, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
I'd normally agree with your point about the lead but: a) it's in the infobox; b) the article is short; c) the only major section worth reading is short (Release and Reception); d) the article (except Track listing, Release history, External links and References) can be displayed without scrolling; e) most readers don't need to be told the same thing three times. Still, I've done my part and I'm not going to argue because I have no interest in this article or its subject. Good luck with your DYK nomination. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 01:38, 6 April 2019 (UTC)

I don't think there are big differences beetwen these versions. Is it safe to copy description of standard English version to Candian in music subject? Eurohunter (talk) 19:34, 13 April 2019 (UTC)
@Twofingered Typist: Forgot. Eurohunter (talk) 19:35, 13 April 2019 (UTC)

Your Request @ de:wp

Hi Eurohunter, are you the one who was asking about German language variants for wikidata? What exactly do you need this information for? In general, Standard German, Austrian Standard German and Swiss Standard German do not differ that much – there are some differences in syntax and spelling. There are only few words w/ different meaning. So for all the topics you listed in your request, spelling/translation would be the same in Standard German and the other variants.

In regard to Swiss German (Alemannic Help Desk), Low German and Low Saxon (Low German Help Desk), it might be a good idea to ask at the respective wikis. Hth, Willi P (talk) 21:10, 13 April 2019 (UTC)

It's what I was looking for. You mentioned "Swiss Standard German" (Swiss High German) but there in Wikidata is also "Swiss German". Eurohunter (Diskussion) 23:18, 13. Apr. 2019 (CEST)
I need it for Wikidata items. Eurohunter (Diskussion) 23:20, 13. Apr. 2019 (CEST) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Willi P (talkcontribs) 21:36, 13 April 2019 (UTC)

Can you please explain me all the changes you made in this article? You have ripped off all the several months of work I've done with the article using tables that wikipedia it self has set as an option to use. As you delete them without justification why. If you do not have time to contribute with adjusting the colors used (since you claim they have problems) then it would be nice to use the Talk page to explain all that nor my User page. You can not undo others work without a decent explanation Bes-ARTTalk 11:48, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

@Bes-ART: I just deleted wrong colours and fixed tables (double bolds, black letters on dark bacground, table bugs). Eurohunter (talk) 11:52, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
And this is your "explanation"? You are causing an edit war... so please make decent reasoning of what you did. Be more respectful now that I am contacting you, since you did not make it the first Bes-ARTTalk 12:04, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
@Bes-ART: I improved tables and you restored wrong tables again so where is the problem? Eurohunter (talk) 12:05, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
You did not improve table, the table was OK and your edit seems to be disruptive. So it will return as it was before, changing only where there are obvious problems. If you continue with the same reasoning then we can go for dispute resolution as well. Bes-ARTTalk 12:18, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
@Bes-ART: No. Double bolds, black letters on dark bacground and other table bugs are not okey and it's obvious. Eurohunter (talk) 12:20, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
Can you make an example of "black letters on dark background" and "other table bugs"? Bes-ARTTalk 12:22, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
@Bes-ART: Dark letters on dark bacground in section Personal equipment or Vehicles. Eurohunter (talk) 12:39, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
@Eurohunter: Have you ever read this Help:Using colours or Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility. This is my last reply. As I said, as soon as I have time I will fix the obvious problems and then if it continues with your disruptive edits, I will provide to make a Dispute resolution requests Bes-ARTTalk 12:53, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
@Bes-ART: What indicateed links has to do with broken tables above? Quote the exact fragment. I will not take further actions in relation to the article but if you are going to restore broken tables it could be treated as vandalism and reported. Eurohunter (talk) 13:01, 19 April 2019 (UTC)
@Bes-ART: Remove double bold. Eurohunter (talk) 19:19, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
@Eurohunter: Double bold removed. Colors will be added in a second moment since I don't have much time to find the right colors now. They are definitely allowed to use in wikipedia. Bes-ARTTalk 19:37, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
@Bes-ART: For what colours? If they have no any function like in this case they should be removed. It's also not possible to pass FLC with colourfull discography. Every discography has default colour and that's better. Eurohunter (talk) 21:51, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

Google Data Centers

I notice that you tagged the page Google Data Centers for speedy deletion with the reason "space for article". While that's a valid reason for speedy deletion in general, this page does not qualify for speedy deletion under that criterion because the reason you gave, "official name", is not an uncontroversial reason to move a page. I rolled back your removal of the IPA transcription because of lack of sources. I could be wrong but as far as I know IPA transcripts do not have to be sourced. ronazTalk! 13:25, 27 August 2019 (UTC)

Whenever you change something in an article you are supposed to provide reliable sources. An explanation in an edit summary is not a riable source, its also considered polite to respond when someone leaves a notice on your talk page; hence the word talk. ronazTalk! 13:25, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
@Ronaz: Previous rollback - I said myself okey so no further action but for me it's OR (no source, no proof, not obvious). About the second thing. It's summary in the lead which is incorrect in current form (it was changed incorrectly long time ago during ce, sentence was without "large") so you de fecto keeping wrong version. Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

Armenia/Azerbaijan discretionary sanctions

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Armenia, Azerbaijan, or related conflicts. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

List of equipment of the Albanian Armed Forces

Enough with the disruptive edits or else you will be reported. I have never seen you write a sentence in the article in question, but you have only undone the work of others. Stop it! Bes-ARTTalk 10:34, 9 May 2021 (UTC)

I don't understand what are you talking about. Watch your language. I only made one move and it's here Albanian Armed Forces because it's list and it can't be keept in two places (part of article can't be copied from other article). So at this moment your edit have be reverted. Eurohunter (talk) 11:48, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
Look at your previous edits, all undoing things and never adding! The article is created by me, the paragraph you moved is created by me because it is subject of the article... so if you want to add or move something to another article you better create that by your self. Take care and stop disruptive edits. Bes-ARTTalk 11:56, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
You should understood that is is not article - it's a list so you can add future equipment in form of a list but you said previously it's list about "current equipment" so? You crated this list but it doesn't mean that you are owner of it and others can't edit it. I have not add anything. My goal is to improve lists of equipments right now. If you want to add information about future equpment - it is currently in Albanian Armed Forces but if you want to add list conmtaining future equipment do it in List of equipment of the Albanian Armed Forces - it would be cool see. Eurohunter (talk) 12:05, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
If you are able to remove all the additional information that serves as the background story to this article List of equipment of the British Army, then we can talk about the article in question. It is a class C article and has all the necessary information along with all the reliable sources to stay as it is and only to be improved in the future. If you like to see only the list, I'm sorry but you have to look elsewhere to give you the right to change the article, you have no consensus from me to do it and if you remove the text once more you will be reported for it. Regarding the other article that you moved the text to, it would be better to write the paragraphs in your own words as you do not like double posting. Bes-ARTTalk 12:23, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
@Bes-ART: List of equipment of the British Army is not any example and this text should be moved somewhere because it is list so this list is so messed. I have better idea. Try to nominate it as featured article and it will not pass it because there is a lot of text between tables - for no reason. List of equipment of the Albanian Armed Forces is a list so it shouldn't containt sections without table otherwise it wouldn't be a list but article. "consensus from me" - I think it is obious which thing is an article and which one is a list and we have certain standards - so your "consensus" is not needed. You still didn't answer me (why?). It this list of current equipment or list of current and future rquipment? Eurohunter (talk) 12:36, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
Origins of this text are in 2010 so tables were added later - that's why there is so much mess. Eurohunter (talk) 12:38, 9 May 2021 (UTC)

@Pamfilyalı: I added intentional sitelink to redirect (Q70894304) on Wikidata item and to do it you have to first remove redirection at Wikipedia, edit Wikidata item then restore redirect at Wikipedia. Eurohunter (talk) 22:19, 13 June 2021 (UTC)

Schumacher's records

Erm, you know you just reintroduced incorrect data, don't you? If you think that data needs to be retained somewhere then please feel free to create a section called "historical records", or similar, don't just revert a perfectly valid edit and demand that somebody else come along and clean up your mess. The section you edited states that the table contains records that Schumacher "holds", present tense. It also states that the current record is 7. Neither of these are true. Schumacher no long holds this record, as Hamilton now holds it with a total of 8. We absolutely do remove information from an encyclopedia when that information is no longer correct. Please go clean up after yourself. Pyrope 21:39, 5 August 2021 (UTC)

@Pyrope: Information is correct and outdated. If there is information you can't remove it - if you want to do anything - update it or just add template so everone know its outdated. Eurohunter (talk) 10:43, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
That's just not how this works. As presented, that table is simply wrong now. The information cannot be both correct and out of date, that is a mutually contradictory statement. Schumacher does not hold that record, therefore to include it in a table of records that he holds is wrong. If you think a section that includes all the records he used to hold would be useful then it is up to you to create one (and provide sources that demonstrate the notability of such information). You do not simply revert a valid edit that removed stale data from a table. In Wikipedia it is always the responsibility of the person seeking to include data to ensure that it is correct, notable and sourced properly. That's you. If you think it is important, put in the work. Pyrope 12:29, 6 August 2021 (UTC)

BilCat's Talkpage

Hello Eurohunter, please take a read through WP:REMOVED, this will lay out the guidelines on talkpage comment removals. I would also like to ask you to drop the stick when it comes to Bilcat's warning. They have already given you advice and are not required to answer any further if they don't deem they need to. If you continue to post or revert his changes to his own talkpage, you risk losing your editing privileges as this could been seen as a form of disruptive editing or harassment. The removal of your comments are an indication that they have read your comment and declined to respond, full stop. If you feel they are in violation of any policy you may take it to the appropriate board or if it is a content dispute take it to the affected article's talk page. McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 14:33, 10 September 2021 (UTC)

@Mcmatter: I'm not going do anything with it but at this point I want to have it explainted. For what reason he is allowed to warn me? I sorted the mess in some way (everyone is allowed to do) and he restored the mess for no reason (WP:FIRSTSENTENCE given by Loafiewa is wrong from what I can see and BilCat didn't care to explain) and it can't be messed more than it is now. He restored the wrong worse version for no reason so his revert should been seen as a form of disruptive editing. Can you take a logical approach here and notice the sequence of events, explanations and reasons? Is Wikipedia opened and anyone can edit articles or not? It's easy to give out "warnings" with beautiful exclamation marks but are they true? Stll there is no reason to cancel my edit for WP:FIRSTSENTENCE given by Loafiewa. It never was explained what was potentially "wrong" with my edit and for this reason it should be considered vaild and correct. You have to start here. I want rasons. Eurohunter (talk) 15:25, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
I'm not interested in getting into the middle of a content dispute on a topic I have no interest in. If you wish to discuss the changes you want to make take it to Talk:M16_rifle as per WP:EDITWAR and WP:EPTALK. McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 16:05, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
@Mcmatter: So he started dispute and I'm the one who should start discuss? Don't you see that is ridiculous? If he want to have edit reverted (without reson?) he have to start discussion in first place. If there is no reason to revert my edit I want to have it restored because I have reason. Simple and logical. Eurohunter (talk) 16:25, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
No your edit was the one which changed the article from what it had been for years to something different. Your edit was contested and reverted by more then one editor. The onus is now on you to explain on the talk page why your change is better and get consensus. I will no longer be responding to this, you have been told what needs to be done and the policies involved. McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 16:34, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
"No your edit was the one which changed the article from what it had been for years to something different" - so if there was other error - it applies too? Do you know how many errors are unnoticed for years? It still not explains that they reverted it for no reason. I want to have answers. "I will no longer be responding to this" so maybe me too but I have to restore my edits myself then? We want to have it eplained or not? Eurohunter (talk) 16:53, 10 September 2021 (UTC)

The file File:Basshunter – All I Ever Wanted (alternative cover).jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Despite different appearances, using more than one cover art identifying the song potentially not compliant with WP:NFCC#3a. May also fail WP:NFCC#8, meaning that deleting the image wouldn't affect understanding. Preferring the other longstanding image...

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. All screens are not the same, when nowrap was added it's because the list was displaying badly on some device. Some were added to avoid poor multi-line display for phrases, but some might be considered too long. In this case, a clean split should be implemented as further improvement. Trigenibinion (talk) 16:00, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
I used column width before on many tables before but switched to nowrap because it's a better solution. To set the column width you only need one nowrap on the widest item. However, if the item is later removed, is is possible that the editor will not put the nowrap on another one. The widest nowrap could be replaced with column width, however if the widest item is removed, space will be wasted if the header is not adjusted. Setiing the optimal column width also takes several trials. On a narrow screen, column width will only be a suggestion. Nowrap is also needed on some multi line items to perform clean splits, otherwise the column may need to be unacceptably wide. Trigenibinion (talk) 18:02, 30 April 2022 (UTC)

Dear Eurohunter, in article "Life Speaks to Me" Lucky Luke redirects to German Wikipedia. Is there any problem? - Choose🎵 (talk) 11:44, 31 May 2022 (UTC)

@Choosem: There is no article in ENWP. Eurohunter (talk) 14:58, 2 June 2022 (UTC)

Copy edit request - Basshunter

Hello Eurohunter I picked up your article off the GOCE:copy edit request list. I made some relatively minor edits, but wanted to point out that within the body of the content, some titles were italicized while others used "quotes." For standardization, I removed the quotes and italicized the work titles in the body, but left them in quotes for the tables and lists since they are all consistent down there. Cheers! The Real Serena JoyTalk — Preceding undated comment added 22:28, 3 June 2022 (UTC)

@TheRealSerenaJoy: Thanks but titles of songs and singles always should be in quotation marks while albums should be italised. It's standard not just in English language. Eurohunter (talk) 22:31, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
I did see that - made same mistake on another page, I'll go check to see if you've fixed it, if not, I will. The Real Serena JoyTalk 13:33, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
This is odd, but I think I commented on the wrong page, since I didn't actually edit Basshunter. I edited a much shorter page which this comment was meant for.... so I'll go back and see which page I mixed up the quotes/italics on songs, and fix it there. My apologies!!! Update: I edited the page "Angel in the Night" which is a song by Basshunter.... and I went back to fix but someone beat me to it. I thought I was going crazy for a minute there. The Real Serena JoyTalk 21:57, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
@TheRealSerenaJoy: Sorry. I forgot to write that I fixed it myself. Eurohunter (talk) 01:02, 11 June 2022 (UTC)
No worries, glad it is taken care of.The Real Serena JoyTalk 16:23, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
@TheRealSerenaJoy: I assume CE is finished or you plan more edits? Eurohunter (talk) 18:59, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
Yes @Eurohunter I made no changes to Basshunter page, and as the Angle In the Night page is now fixed, I am not doing anything there. I believe AITN page was marked as done but I'll check. Thanks The Real Serena JoyTalk 19:01, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
@TheRealSerenaJoy: Thanks. Eurohunter (talk) 19:03, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
I just added DONE tag. Didn't realize I didn't close it out. My apologies. Thanks for your patience! The Real Serena JoyTalk 19:04, 15 June 2022 (UTC)

DYK for Fest i hela huset

On 20 June 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Fest i hela huset, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Basshunter recorded "Fest i hela huset" with Swedish Big Brother contestants who had never worked with music professionally? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Fest i hela huset. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Fest i hela huset), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Reverted edit

Hi there. I'm trying to figure out what you thought needed reverting here. Is that a specific issue with the use of this template on this specific article you think the entire template is wrong and should never be used? In the latter case, may I invite you to discuss it where it matters and affect the 30,000 articles using it? Best regards and happy editing. --Muhandes (talk) 17:47, 23 July 2022 (UTC)

@Muhandes: Template generates wrong titles. Yes it's good idea to indicate problem at talk page of template but I had no time. I don't know why no one even pick it up. I will try to indicate it soon. Eurohunter (talk) 18:22, 23 July 2022 (UTC)

Walk on Water (Basshunter song)

Ukrainian Air Force

Please DO NOT engaged in edit warring as you've done the Ukrainian Air Force article. You are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users'. If there are certain changes you want to make, then do them individually, as opposed to reverting the entire article. You've reinstated improper grammar punctuation’s, incorrect use of the word “Appointment”, and an unsourced entry (Mil Mi-24) – further images in tables have been discussed and goes against WP:IMAGEMOS. If you continue these disruptive actions, you may be permanently blocked from editing. Thank you - FOX 52 talk! 23:35, 14 October 2022 (UTC)

@Eurohunter:If you want to make a complaint to an admin about this I'd be happy to support you. Many times Fox 52 simply mass reverts good edits and bad then selectively interprets Wikipedia policies to intimidate editors, then when challenged engages to a bare minimum, then goes right back to mass reverts before erasing the relevant sections on his Talk page to hide the evidence. It's really bad behaviour. Ecrm87 (talk) 23:36, 17 October 2022 (UTC)

The article Fest i hela huset you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Fest i hela huset for comments about the article, and Talk:Fest i hela huset/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. Message delivered by ChristieBot, on behalf of Grk1011 -- Grk1011 (talk) 22:23, 12 April 2023 (UTC)

@Grk1011: Thanks. Can I nominate it to DYK if it was there last year just after expansion? Eurohunter (talk) 08:58, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
@Eurohunter: The above was an automated post by the GA process, so sorry if it is misleading. I believe an article can only appear on DYK once per WP:DYKCRIT 1C. Grk1011 (talk) 13:39, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
@Grk1011: No problem. Do you mean this part "An article is ineligible for DYK if it has previously appeared on the main page as a bold link at DYK. It is also ineligible if it has, within the year prior to nomination,[b] appeared as a boldlink In the news (ITN) or in the prose section of Wikipedia:Selected anniversaries (OTD), or as Today's featured article. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of OTD are not disqualified, nor are names listed in "Recent deaths" section of ITN."? Eurohunter (talk) 15:41, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
Yes, because it was a bold link as part of its own prior DYK. Grk1011 (talk) 15:53, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
@Grk1011: It's pretty obvious, just missed the meaning of words while I read it for the first time. Good to know. Thanks. Eurohunter (talk) 15:57, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

Signing up for the WikiCup

Hi Eurohunter, and thank you for your interest in this year's WikiCup. I noticed you added yourself to Wikipedia:WikiCup/Participant15 and to Wikipedia:WikiCup/History/2024.

In the future, can you sign up at the signups page (e.g. Wikipedia:WikiCup/2024 signups), rather than adding yourself directly to these internal WikiCup pages? This helps with record-keeping, since we use the signups page to keep track of users who have signed up. Thank you. – Epicgenius (talk) 17:18, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
