Hey man, you planning on going back to wikia? I know you say that you don't want to be banned by TDIFan13, but he won't ban you if you make sure that your new account doesn't act like you! plus I bet he will ban anyone that joins during TDPI, since he knows you will be there at that time. Just make a new account, make productive edits, and don't act like you, and you won't get banned there again. Getting banned on the same wiki 20 or 30 times isn't really something to be proud of, even though it is impressive! I hope to see and talk to you later man!

Well, thanks for joining, but seeing that most information about the finale was already added in here after it finished airing in the USA, it seems that the only TDAS edits that will be made on here on Thursday night are when Zoey wins, and means that many complex string of edits are going to be done so that the ranks on the elimination/character tables can host two winners, not just one. It will take a whole day to perform those edits, but I'm already planning on doing them myself sometime on Friday, but you are welcome to help if you want Giggett (talk) 23:52, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

Wikia is not a priority right now, I already got enough work to do here on Wikipedia now that the TDPI characters are confirmed and that the TDAS finale is today in Canada, so got a lot of editing to do here. I'm sorry for the confusion, the image has been in the article for weeks now with no disputes, but apparently an IP user revoved the image for no reason (probably vandalism), so I just added it back. Page considered for deletion

Hello Giggett, I'm sure you've seen me before, but we've never had a chance to talk one-on-one before. The reason I'm here is we've got quite a big problem, if you haven't noticed already the TD character page has been considered for deletion due to it being too sloppy, having too much unnecessary info, too much unsourced material, and I think the guy who marked it just hates Total Drama in general. Drastic times call for drastic measures; I think the only course of action now is we (everyone who regularly edits this page) need to cleanup the page and legitimately this time, if required might have to do a bit of mass deleting. Anything that's too 'in-universe' will have to go, and we have to find as many TD character sources as possible. I think a good place to start is Fresh’s TD character bio’s on their website. Hey I tried pointing that out, to him (almost every character page has those problems) but he just goes and shows me the Sesame Street character page which has sources (even though most of those are for actor information). And they should totally delete the Ben 10 page it's atrocious, especially since every character is listed on each season. The Total Drama Wiki has their own problems which is none of my business. They have their own articles to take care of, while I have my articles to take care about here. I've been wanting to rewrite the whole characters article for a long time now and I think that this might finally be our chance to fix that article once in for all. It's like Wikipedia has trouble with sites which end in ".php", I've tried really hard to find one which doesn't result in a faulty link but for now that's the best I can do. FYI

Regarding [1], so if tomorrow AASHTO, the organization who actually assigns highway numbers in the US, decides it's approve as I-13, is it still imminent to be signed as I-11? I don't think the word imminent is appropriate until those decisions have been made. Dave (talk) 20:35, 16 May 2014 (UTC)

No, the Mal image isn't official. It's a fan created image (you can tell by the rounded corners on his body) and by using it on here, not only are you committing art thievery, but you're also using fan mad material on an official wikipedia article. Alright, I'll leave it be. If I were you, I'd just screenshot a full body picture of Mal from an episode of TDAS. All of the episode are in HD at watchcartoononline.com. Images

Giggett, quick question. I see you've uploaded a lot of images, but when I try it I always get told off for not having appropriate rights or licence. How do you upload images like TD logos or cast without bringing up trouble with those guys? Snowy66 (talk) 11:20, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

I've been editing here for years. At first they kept asking me to delete the images since they were copyrighted, but after a while they just stopped asking and as you can see, almost all of the Total Drama images were uploaded by me (even the logos). Now every once in a while a vandal goes into an article and removes an image during a weekend (when I'm less active) and then I come back on Monday and get those lame "orphaned non-free deletion tags", but other than that, my images seems to stay online for a very long time. Well if it's a logo image, then I add {{non-free logo}}, if it's a picture about the show in general, then I add in {{non-free television screenshot}}, if it's a picture about a character or many characters, then I add in {{non-free character}}, and finally if it's like a promotional image, or like a poster of a new season, then I add in {{non-free promotional}}. After that, you have to make sure that your images are not full resolution and are no bigger than 400 pixels wide. Later, you have to add a {{non-free use rationale}} and add all the settings like the source of the image and its purpose of use (See this for example). Later, you have to make sure you organize the image's setting into sections (kinda like a mini article), and oh yeah, don't forget to add in categories. After you do all of that, then make sure you do all of it on ONE EDIT and put in all the copyright info RIGHT WHEN YOU UPLOAD, not after, or else it gets tagged by admins. Next Season for Total Drama

Do you know When the Season of Total Drama Come on ?

Total Drama's production schedule is currently on hold right now since the producers are still working on The Ridiculous Race right now. Yes, Sky and Dave's relationship in TDPI was left unresolved, so I'm sure that TDPI characters will appear in Season 6 so yeah, that Dave and Sky's friendship/rivalry will continue then so I'm sure they will start off fighting but then fall in love again soon enough. I checked the APTN website to see if Total Drama: Pahkitew Island was part of the network's schedule. It is not listed in the schedule, neither is it one of the shows included as part of APTN's schedule, and it is most likely that APTN did not co-produce TDPI either. I should also point out that the poster who included that info, Mewtwowimmer, has a history of putting false information in articles and has been repeatedly blocked for doing so. Total Drama Reception Sections

I apologize for hastily deleting the reception sections of many of the seasons, but at the same time, I must ask why they remain there, uncited for so many years. Ever since the first time I have viewed the page, they have been uncited with some occasional additions that are still uncited and, quite frankly, this isn't a good way of having a critical reception section.

With the exception of TDI, the sections all rely too heavily on fan reception and user reviews on various sites, which is not a reliable source. From my knowledge of the show's reviews, the only ones that I have seen are two reviews of the DVD of Total Drama Island and a negative review from "The Age" that appears to no longer exist, and I have seen no other sources. But a lack of critical reviews should not mean that we need to resort to fan opinion to determine the critical reception section. Metacritic user reviews, IMBd, TV.com, and I think even Common Sense Media are determined solely by users and that is not a source I see outside of this page. The fact that specific events that within the show are mentioned really shows that the reviews are heavily biased towards the fan opinion. An example that REALLY stands out to me is this, from the World Tour section:

"However, some events of the season were severely criticized, such as the over-use of popular characters like Owen and Duncan getting more screen time and the under-use of characters like Noah and Tyler who were booted off early."

This is a clearly opinionated. Overuse of "popular" characters? Why would they not use a popular character, and if the critics recognized this why would they think this is a bad idea? Underuse of characters like Tyler and Noah? I doubt that, even if there was a review that existed which there does not seem to be, that this would not actually happen. They would care more about what they got, not who was "overused" or who had potential, which something that is more of a subjective opinion in the fanbase. Speaking of this, why is everything coincidentally something that the fanbase focuses on so much? This is more of a petty issue that a critic would not go with. Issues such as "Gwen and Courtney's friendship being ruined again" from the overall TD section, "overuse of season four characters" from the overall TD section, "Ezekiel being the first one kicked off" are also things that a critic couldn't care less about that but the fandom got worked up about. There is no way that a critical review would mention how they expected more out of Ezekiel because of the format of it. Notice how the critical reviews of Regular Show and Adventure Time will talk about the fundamentals of the show as a whole, not something like the elimination order or, well, utilization of characters. They also mention specific sites with specific names, which only one review of TDI does. They also talk about the concept of the show as a whole, the way all the characters are handled, and how they go through all existent plotlines, not the specfic plotlines they go through and how utilized characters are. Any awards the show gets are specifically mentioned where they got it and in what section and if they won. All sections of Total Drama do not do this.

As a side note, the rewards Total Drama World Tour won are unspecified for their location and the fact that it mentioned "many other rewards" particularly irks me as well. What are these other rewards? Or is this another assumption?

This brings me to the assumption that there is no actual critic reviews for any season past TDI, and the lack of citations for so many years and my aforementioned reasons only seems to back up my claim. Even if they did happen, why is reception for season five being removed when it has exactly as many citations (zero) as all the other seasons? I understand that having a link to Tumblr is dumb and should not happen, but everything else seems to already be assuming that critics felt the same exact way as the fanbase, so... yeah. All I'm wondering is why this reception remains the way it is for so many years, and if nothing is being done about it, why it is a bad idea to try to remove unsupported and potentially false information.

So overall I still think that much of the information is useless and think that you should reconsider rollbacking my edit towards the pages.

Total Drama

About the Total Drama series, the reason I removed the category Cartoon Network original programs from the article is for what the category page lists:

This category is for television programs produced by Cartoon Network that have regularly aired their first-run episodes on the regular Cartoon Network schedule.

Cartoon Network does not produce Total Drama, it only airs the show in the United States. That's why I had to remove that category, because to have it there would imply that CN produces the show (like it does/did Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, the Ben 10 shows, The Amazing World of Gumball, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and Chowder, among others CN has developed and produced), even though it does not. The reason for removal

The reason I removed the template because, some other users belive that the animation industry templates I added to this and other articles has nothing to do with the article, or there isn't a refference to it. These are the edits that got undone;

Total Drama will soon become a franchise though in June when the second series airs in a new channel in both Canada and the US so adding that new template makes sense. Besides, no one else seems to be removing it, so until someone else does remove it for a reason than just saying "other people are", then I say it should stay. Besides, the new template looks cool Giggett (talk) 17:07, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
