National anthem of the South African Republic[edit]

Hi, thanks for your works, can you create an audio file of the the national anthem of Transvaal? The sheets can be found at c:Category:Transvaalse Volkslied. Thanks. -- Great Brightstar (talk) 11:44, 2 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Paragraph breaks[edit]

Rather than using <br>, you just need two returns to create a new paragraph. See what I've done at the 1898 election article. I'd also recommend not having very short (one sentence) paragraphs though. Cheers, Number 57 02:26, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

2021 FA Community Shield[edit]

Leicester tactics goes below. See 2020 edition. It helps.--Island92 (talk) 17:29, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It'll take time to fix ─ there aren't any blank templates I can find, so I have scrounge for the formations. It is an issue, but I don't think it'll effect the accuracy of diagram. I will fix it as soon as possible. ─ Kirkworld (talk) 17:35, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Per consistency with too many finals here on Wikipedia the home team tactical line up goes below.--Island92 (talk) 17:38, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, the humanity(!) Just understand, it takes time. Don't speak like it's obvious or easy. [I apologise for the original form of my reply, this debacle's had my blood boiling]
Also ─ and I may be wrong [misguided] here ─ they're playing on neutral ground, so I don't see the home team thing here. ─ Kirkworld (talk) 17:55, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Just see the previous finals. The "home team" tactics although it isn't a real home team goes always below. However, players who their position should be swapped: Ndidi with Tielemans, Edozie with Torres, and the right midfield order for Man. City is Fernandinho, Gundogan, Palmer from left.--Island92 (talk) 18:04, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm using BBC Sport as my source, and that, I believe, corroborates my diagram. Kirkworld (talk) 18:11, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ok.--Island92 (talk) 18:24, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I can breath. Thanks for putting up with the fire I was spitting. And, thanks for your insight, particularly regarding the home/away direction thing, even if it was an [expletive] to implement. ─ Kirkworld (talk) 18:33, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome. You did a great job. I've been looking for attendance data and the player who was named Man of the Match, but I haven't found out anything so far.--Island92 (talk) 20:01, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Now just attendance data is missing.--Island92 (talk) 20:56, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Now completed.--Island92 (talk) 16:01, 8 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

FC Edinburgh edits[edit]

Hi there. Always glad to see a new editor on the football pages. The edit was undone as the information was out of date i.e. Brydon, Watson have left the club. It's totally understandable as sources, especially for Scottish lower league clubs, can be out of date. Sometimes I slack in providing edit sources too, but all changes are correct to the most recent developments where possible. Thanks for getting in touch, and feel free to ask or discuss any changes you think need made. CoatbridgeChancellor (talk) 22:28, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for replying. Your points are all fair enough and well taken. I might dive into finding more sources regarding the squad, since the club website's lacking. Either that or I'll drop a line saying that an update to the page would be helpful. Kirkworld (talk) 12:43, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
