Your autoblock of a vandal only editor popped another vandal only account (User talk:Gfrins) who requested a removal of the autoblock. I directly blocked the second account...--Isotope23 talk 20:16, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted Article. ARTICLE TITLE: qwweb

Why did you delete my article titled qwweb? From what I saw you deleted it because it was "blatant advertising". I see my post no different from Dell's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dell) where revenue, growth, customer base, business targets, accolades and history are described in great detail.

Thanks,

Mechanol 22:01, 5 November 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I think it's a bit academic, but the only reason the above page was displaying spam was because the editor who flagged it for csd reverted the page to include the spam text when inserting the db-spam tag. Prior to that edit the page was actually blank. Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 13:37, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That was so its spammy nature was completely unambiguous. Blanked or no, it was spam by its very title. --Calton | Talk 13:39, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hassocks Golf Club

Do you mind explaining why you decided to delete the above with no discussion at all? I joined the Wikipedia golf project this morning - created an article on a golf course that I have no connection to this afternoon, and you decide it should be deleted! It was not intended to be an advert but if you thought that it was just common courtesey would dictate that you dropped me a line first and I would be pleased to discuss the article and change it where required.Paste 16:03, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

HearMe Speedy Deletion

Hi Merope,

A page I created on HearMe was deleted, and I am hoping to ask you why. The company plays in the same space as Webex and Sightspeed so I tried to use those as examples of what would fly. Would you mind letting me know your thoughts.

Sockpuppetry of the author of Unsigh

I have opened a sockpuppetry case against the author of Unsigh, which has been SD'd 5 times already today. If you have any more names to add to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Arkelna, please add them to the list. Thank you. --Blanchardb 21:25, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Metal Arm Fawege

The Metal Arm Fawege article was not "Pure vandalism" as you put it. It was merely attempting to boost information about the new Neopets empire and to recruit interested members of the public to Milkshake Squad. Please do not delete my constructive edits to other articles such as Wikipedia or Books Thanks

Life Space Crisis Intervention

It is actually not a club, it is a method of talking to kids. People must be trained and certified to practice life space crisis intervention. It is like teaching. You cannot teach unless you are certified. I had to post something for a class, and I am familiar with LSCI so I posted it. Can you please restore it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kristensal (talkcontribs) 16:07, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rama's Arrow and Jesus's Second Coming

It is 9 November in India right now. Diwali Festival Day which marks Rama's return to Ayodhya. And I am still wondering why username Rama's Arrow is allowed but 'Jesus's Second Coming' not. What is the rational? Or is it just powers? Some Bhadani has endorsed block that does not mean that matter is closed. I will go to the end of universe to demand explaination from you.

I am here to help project. But I am seeing that blatant advertisements of companies are allowed by admins even though WP:CORP states that while allowing article on company Please consider notable and demonstrable effects on culture, society, entertainment, athletics, economies, history, literature, science, or education.

New page patrollers and admins are being fooled by writing articles claverly in beautiful and professional way. MyWikiBiz.com!

Also there are millions of people doing this or that and publishing their work on net, non-notable journals, books. I can also write weird stuff, get it published in small books and voila! I am notable person on wikipedia. I tell you secret. Please don't tell anyone.

It is not necessary to publish anything. I can give false references. This thing published by this thing in this year authors abhih, Jesus's Second Coming et al. Humm... Are admins going to search book stall and publishing company on whole planet to confirm it? I can claim that this paper is published in this journal this this and this. How are you going to confirm that?

Forget about forgery. There are millions of people and they have really some source. How are you going to confirm that those people are notable?

And there is this problem of music albums and video games. Fantastic way to advertise on wikipedia. No one object to it.

Trillions of galaxies, one planet with known life. And wikipedia is biggest encyclopedia on this planet, in this universe. Don't you people think that it is your responsibility to define meaning of encyclopedia?

I have defined it on my userpage. Whether you people like it or not, I am going to follow it. Go ahead and block me. Call me vandalist, sockpuppetier. I am going to try my best because Jimbo Wales told me WP:Ignore all rules.

He may change his stance.

I will NOT. abhih 20:51, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Diwali, Merope! As a Christian, I am profoundly offended that the third hit for "God" on google is for God is Imaginary: 50 Simple Proofs. When you're finished fixing the google searches for Rama, would you fix that for me? It's outrageous that people searching for "God" should ever see information on google searches other than exactly what they were looking for. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:40, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you want example, eh?

Check history of Pelican Products Inc. and check user:Nana ten and IP address 65.164.154.2. You will get glimpse of what is going on wikipedia. Let me sleep now. Block me while I am asleep. Thanks. abhih 21:08, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

G7th

I really do not know the reason why you deleted the "G7th". I bought a capo last few weeks and tried to find some more information about the company. I can't find anything about it in the Wikipedia. But after www the musical instrument forums in the internet, I find that it is quite famous now. If you do not believe that please search "G7th" in the forums and have a look yourself. Manson-page vandalism

Near the bottom of the talk page of the Charles Manson article you will find "Vandalism," an entry I added about a month ago. It points out, with a clarifying example, that the damage regularly done to the article is sometimes insidious. A few hours ago (at 04:44 10 November 2007), I undid yet more damage, which, though minor, was just one of several bits of destructiveness visited upon the article since I posted that entry.

Also near the bottom of the talk page is an entry headed "Major Changes on 9/18/07." It will give you an idea of some other troubles the article has faced. You might want to read as well an old entry headed "WTF?!" Its complaint that the article "needs some major editing" and "reads as a mishmash of selections largely taken from a couple of 'true crime' books" is probably an accurate assessment of the article as it stood before I began revamping it earlier this year. Note, for instance, that, in the same complaint, there is a remark that the article explains nothing of the period between Manson's 1967 release from prison and the Tate-LaBianca murders, that it says nothing of the formation of "the Manson Family." That conspicuous problem, among others, has been remedied. (If you would like to see the old mishmash, go to 17:49 16 April 2007, in whose opening paragraphs you will find this choice bit of misinformation: "In the late 1960s, [Manson] migrated to California, wanting to become a musician; instead, he befriended some disenfranchised young people and began calling them his 'family.'")

I personally can no longer watch for vandalism of the page. I know nothing of Wikipedia's measures for protecting articles against vandalism; but because you are, as I have mentioned to you before, the only Wikipedia administrator I know, I present you my recommendation that the page be protected.JohnBonaccorsi 10:02, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since leaving the preceding note, I have encountered Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. My further remarks on this subject will be posted under the heading "Grand pronouncement on vandalism," at the Manson talk page.JohnBonaccorsi 03:54, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Colin Grazier

I note that you deleted a page dedicated to Colin Grazier, who won the George Cross for heroism during the Second World War. I have recreated a page on this brave man and can only presume you deleted the original page for reasons other than notability. If you want to try deleting this one, go ahead, but I think you'll find anyone who wins the second highest award for gallantry in the Commonwealth is worthy of a page here. Allen Systems Group

I noticed that you deleted the page for Allen Systems Group (ASG). The content does not seem to be any different than that of BMC or IBM, ASG's two competitors. It is written in an unbiased manner, and contains a citation to an outside source. What can I change to keep this listing up? I am very confused.--Pameladeeda1 16:00, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Take a look at an article for me?

Ryan Sunser...it looks like a complete hoax, and as such could possibly be considered a subtle attack page. I PRODed it, but I thought an admin should review it to see if it qualifies for speedy. Thanks! Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 20:31, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Foosh Energy Mints

Hello Merope. I would like to understand why the page on Foosh Energy Mints was deleted when pages on bawls mints and others still exist. Foosh mints are available in many college bookstores, including my daughter's, and I think it is important that people be able to learn more about them here.

Thanks for your time. Matushka (talk)

Foosh Energy Mints

When you have a chance, could you please let me know how I can work to get the article on Foosh Mints back. They do have notability. I am still relatively new at Wikipedia, and I would like to understand why exactly it was deleted, how I can ensure that other article I start won't be, and what to do if they are. Thanks for your time. Matushka (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 17:08, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rat's milk

Wasn't pure vandalism but perhaps not appropriate. See here. Daily Telegraph mainstream source here The rat's milk thing is all over the web. Perhaps it should have a sepearate article on rats milk? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 15:46, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the tagging, it seemed to be vandalism. However, I don't think the redirect is appropriate -- simply mentioning a particular thing does not warrant a redirect. If the controversy is sustained, it might warrant a mention in her article; at present, though, it seems more like tabloid fodder than actual, encyclopedic information. My advice is to wait it out. -- Merope 15:53, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well it did seem out of the blue - amazingly quick you reacted anyway. I've added a small paragraph. Yes unfortunately there does seem a lot of press cruelty agaimst Heather, but this has been discussed all over the radio and TV today as well. If it more about the court case with McCartney I wouldn't have bothered adding it The Telegraph is a reliable source and it has some encyclopedic value in the section on her vegetarian committments. i wouldn't recommend drinking it personally!!
