Disambiguation link notification for May 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Alonso de Sandoval, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cartagena. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Siege of Lovech into Lovech Fortress. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 13:42, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the notification, I'll get on that right away! PixelatedGalaxy (talk) 16:29, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for translating an article onto enwiki! If you have the time please denote the article on bgwiki that you translated, and press the 'add interlanguage links' button on the left to link the two articles together. Also add {{Translated page}} on the talk page. This more easily allows people to switch languages between the versions on different Wikipedias. Sungodtemple (talk) 22:20, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm still quite new to wikipedia, and I don't quite understand how I add 'translated page' or a link to the Bulgarian wiki. If you could you tell me how to do it, then I can get on that right away. Thank you! PixelatedGalaxy (talk) 22:31, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your placement of {{Translated page}} is correct on the talk page, but AFAIK it is not placed on the main article. On the sidebar at the left (where there are links such as 'main page' and 'random article'), using the link that says 'Edit interlanguage links' should open a dialog box to link the page with other articles that have the same subject on other Wikipedias.
And one more thing: When making comments add a colon (:) to the beginning of your comment to add an indent. This makes threads, especially longer ones, easier to follow. If you have any more questions just ask at the Teahouse at WP:Teahouse. Sungodtemple (talk) 22:49, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for all the help, the interlanguage links seem to be working now. Have a good day! (Sorry for the very late reply, I fell asleep) PixelatedGalaxy (talk) 06:54, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Mikhail Arnaudov[edit]

Hello, PixelatedGalaxy,

Thank you for creating Mikhail Arnaudov.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs citations - the sources need to be cited in the text, not as a separate section.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Draftified[edit]

Hi, PixelatedGalaxy, i've moved your article Draft:Union of Bulgarian Writers to draft space where you can work on it. Please provide citations to significant coverage in multiple reliable third party sources. You can use primary sources such as the organisations website to an extent for verifying content but they do not establish notability and a whole article shouldn't be based on them. It's ok to use Bulgarian sources too, although if English language ones exist that is preferable. When you've addressed these concerns feel free to move the article back into mainspace. If you'd like to ping me when you do then you're more than welcome to. Kind regards, Zindor (talk) 13:03, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Correct notice when translating[edit]

Thanks for trying to leave attribution, but your notice on Ivan Andreychin doesn't make it clear that the text was translated from Bulgarian wiki. The minimum notice that should be left is "Content in this edit is translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at fr:Exact name of French article; see its history for attribution." Copyvio - May 2022[edit]

Hi again, Pixelated Galaxy. The article you created. Lovech Fortress, contained copyrighted material. I can see that some of it was copied across from Siege of Lovech but you have to make sure before re-publishing prose, and as a standard procedure when creating a new article, that it doesn't contain copyright violations. Failure to do so can result in restriction from editing. Regards, Zindor (talk) 11:19, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm very sorry for making that mistake, thank you for fixing the article up and for alerting me to this, I'll not do this again. Have a good day. PixelatedGalaxy (talk) 16:06, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, i hope you're enjoying editing Wikipedia. I look forward to seeing more articles on Bulgarian topics, they're interesting. I would like to re-visit Bulgaria one day, i went there a few times when i was younger, to Bankso and Borovets, and spent a day in Sofia looking at stuff in the street markets. Dragomir Asenov moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Dragomir Asenov, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
