A tag has been placed on Professor Parur Sundaram Iyer requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Leonard(Bloom) 03:13, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Sangeethapriya, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Sangeethapriya and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Lothar von Richthofen (talk) 18:52, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Pushpa Mittra Bhargava has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. WWGB (talk) 12:27, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Edit to article Gravitation[edit]

A discussion is currently taking place on the talk page of the article Gravitation about the information added to the article with this edit of yours. Unless a reliable source can be found to confirm this information, it will very likely be removed from the article. I invite you to join the discussion.

Hi, such a claim cannot be added to articles without a reference. Where is the source of that claim? --mfb (talk) 13:31, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please tell me what your source is for this edit? 220 of Borg 14:25, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 18[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Thirumalaisamudram, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pincode. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your edits[edit]

Sorry, but I've reverted both. The source for the atom claim was a self-published book by a WP:Fringe author. See WP:VERIFY. The Yazidis material had no source and I couldn't find any serious studies mentioning the connection, which is what we'd need. Doug Weller talk 09:38, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Celia Homeford (talk) 09:18, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your edit to Newton's law of universal gravitation: I have reverted for a number of reasons. It had bad grammar, forces are acting instead of pointing, and most importantly, the source that you added is not appropriate, as it says "A little known school of scholars...", which means that the added content is probably wp:UNDUE and might even be wp:FRINGE. If independent reliable wp:secondary sources can be found for this, you can propose it on the article talk page. Cheers. - DVdm (talk) 09:36, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Note: I noticed that you have made many similar edits along this line in the past, so please be careful: such behaviour can lead to a wp:block. - DVdm (talk) 09:38, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Newton's law of universal gravitation. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

Note regarding the —repeated— undo by user Deacon Vorbis of this edit: Wikipedia is not a reliable source, which may look strange, but please see wp:Circular. - DVdm (talk) 17:09, 3 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Tilicho Lake. - DVdm (talk) 20:06, 10 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
