Thank you very much for your support in the recent Military history Wikiproject elections. I went into it expecting to just keep my seat and was astonished to end up with the lead role. I anticipate a rather busy six months :) --ROGER DAVIEStalk 13:28, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Supergodzilla2090. Thanks for your support at the Military history elections. With your aid I was able to commision this ship to help plunder the coast of Military history for the third time. Na, just kidding. If you ever require any astance all you have to do is ask and you will see my ship on the horizon. Kyriakos (talk) 13:35, 29 February 2008 (UTC) [reply]

Supergodzilla2090: I wish to thank you for your support in my unsuccessful bid at becoming an Assistant Coordinator for the Military history WikiProject. Rest assured that I will still be around, probably even more than before, and I have the utmost confidence in the abilities of the current and new coordinators. I might also mention that I am already planning on running again in August. As always, if you need anything, just get in touch. -MBK004 21:31, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As a member of the project, you are invited to take part in our annual project coordinator election, which will determine our coordinators for the next twelve months. I apolagize for the disruptive editing i have done on your article: Revolution (tv series). I simply did that because i believe that i made the show much more interesting. Also because the television show never stated the faith of Canada, i though i would make up my own! I understand that "sandbox mode" is for this but it is just not the same as editing the real article. My edits to the article did not significantly impact the reader's image of the entire television series, but was a fun "sideshow". Please go on my talk page so we can discuss this further with more privacy.
Can i keep my edit on the section though... i kinda like it and quite a few people who have seen the show said to me that i kinda made the show seem more exciting. Even though what i wrote is false... its only a minor part of the show i made false. I did not change the character names, i did not change the main story, i did not change the statistics about the show as well... i just kinda want to keep this little piece. I promise that i will not interfere with anything else in the article. Plus... i highly doubt anyone who would need to write a summary about the show would bother writing anything about Canada, and i dont think they would be using Wikipedia as a mian source (no offense).
Also, even if someone interpreted Canada as being part of the series... most would forget and if they don't see anything about Canada written on the page to be true... then they would probably forget because a small false fact written on a free encyclopedia. This was a fun slideshow and i will take full responsibility for the edit, so anyone who complains this is false... just direct them to me. If your page gets packed with messages stating that ur article is false i will consider editing it or taking it down... another idea is to just keep my edit on Canada up for a specific period of time, then take it down. This both saves the entire reputation of the page and lets me show a few people and have some fun. Tell me what you prefer to prevent a future content dispute. Message me on my talk page and we can hopefully come to some agreement.
thanks,

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. I was going to put a cite for Breath of the Wild...[edit]
...but frankly, the cite system here gives me a nosebleed. Also I couldn't find anything more than forum-bitching, as opposed to an actual article. HalfShadow 19:15, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I don't usually put in sources myself but I saw a revert over on BOTW article and figured that if we were not going to use it there, we could put it in Jim Sterlings. Supergodzilla2090 (talk) 19:47, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it does more specifically apply to him, really, as opposed to the game itself. Otherwise articles would be getting pretty swelled with stuff like that. HalfShadow 20:13, 13 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

2017 Military Historian of the Year and Newcomer of the Year nominations and voting[edit]
As we approach the end of the year, the Military History project is looking to recognise editors who have made a real difference. Each year we do this by bestowing two awards: the Military Historian of the Year and the Military History Newcomer of the Year. The co-ordinators invite all project members to get involved by nominating any editor they feel merits recognition for their contributions to the project. Nominations for both awards are open between 00:01 on 2 December 2017 and 23:59 on 15 December 2017. After this, a 14-day voting period will follow commencing at 00:01 on 16 December 2017. Nominations and voting will take place on the main project talkpage: here and here. Thank you for your time. For the co-ordinators, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 08:35, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
"Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. To support contributors interested in the area over various language Wikipedias, we intend to form a user group. It also provides a platform to share the best practices between military historians, and various military related projects on Wikipedias. An initial discussion was has been done between the coordinators and members of WikiProject Military History on English Wikipedia. Now this discussion has been taken to Meta-Wiki. Contributors intrested in the area of military history are requested to share their feedback and give suggestions at Talk:Discussion to incubate a user group for Wikipedia Military Historians.
G'day all, please be advised that throughout April 2018 the Military history Wikiproject is running its annual backlog elimination drive. This will focus on several key areas:
tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
adding or improving listed resources on Milhist's task force pages
updating the open tasks template on Milhist's task force pages
creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various lists of missing articles.
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the scope of military history will be considered eligible. This year, the Military history project would like to extend a specific welcome to members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red, and we would like to encourage all participants to consider working on helping to improve our coverage of women in the military. This is not the sole focus of the edit-a-thon, though, and there are aspects that hopefully will appeal to pretty much everyone.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 April and runs until 23:59 UTC on 30 April 2018. Those interested in participating can sign up here.
