  1. 4nn1l2 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I am an established user of Persian Wikipedia. I work on Islamic subjects there. Encyclopaedia of Islam (3rd edition) is an authoritative source which is published by Brill. I have promoted 2 FAs so far. I have also written some other lengthy articles but didn't bother to nominate them for GA or FA process. I intend to dedicate more time to English Wikipedia from now on. I wrote a blog post for the Wikipedia Library last year. 4nn1l2 (talk) 19:49, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  2. MrLinkinPark333 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I've come across Brill while helping out at the Resource Exchange. Brill can be helpful for me when tracking down journal articles that other websites don't have, or are missing. --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 20:44, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  3. Ealdgyth (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I mainly edit in history areas - specifically medieval history - with ecclesiastical and nobility being my main focus but I branch out to almost anyone medieval that is connected with England. I also dabble in American history related to horses, as well as equine subjects. Over 100 GAs, over 50 FAs. Been here a long time, will continue to be here for a while, I hope. Access to Brill resources would be very useful, in particular for the books and journals on Classical studies, but also to verify articles on different subjects. Currently I have no access to Brill resources. ContinuaEvoluzione 08:13, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  10. Eperoton (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I'm a somewhat recent but active editor currently focusing on subjects related to Islam and Late Antiquity. Between my two accounts (this one and msubotin, phased out privacy reasons) I have over a year of Wikipedia experience and over 800 edits. Over the last month I've made significant contributions to Religion in pre-Islamic Arabia, History of Islam, Shahada and Zakat. Brill online publications on this subject are essential and very expensive for a private subscriber. Eperoton (talk) 15:05, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I contribute on many different topics but since last 2 years i focus on history articles. Mostly i write about history of Turkish and Balkanic states. I would very much like to diversify the sources i could reach. I am not an academician or university student therefore i can't use the local university library, therefore accessing to Brill would help a lot.--Basak (talk) 13:07, 12 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, sometimes I am short of English language sources for certain matters, for which I would be really appreciated. My mottos are accuracy and relevance. Main topics of interest include Classical Antiquity and Middle Ages, including Byzantium and the early Islamic period. 1. Andreas Philopater (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I registered in 2009 and have about 5000 edits on the account, with over 300 articles created from scratch. For the last year or so I've mostly been working on articles relating to the history and heritage of the Benelux countries (especially medieval and early modern Belgium). The Brill resources would be fantastically useful for this, and I do not have alternative access to them. --Andreas Philopater (talk) 13:05, 13 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
