  3. In the "Internet Search Sites" tab, press the "New" button. A new entry will be created in the table, with the "Key" field selected.
  4. Enter the key "w", then select the "Title" field for the new entry.
  5. Enter "Wikipedia" as the title, then select the "URL" field.
  6. Enter the URL "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/".
  7. Close the window.

Usage

Simply type "w Article_name" into the address bar, without quotes, where Article_name is the name of the article you wish to navigate to. Article_name must include underscores between words, and have the correct capitalization.

Alternative Instructions

This set of instructions will allow the user to perform a quick search of Wikipedia, rather than attempting to go directly to an article.
  1. Navigate to the Wikipedia main page, http://en.wikipedia.org
  2. Holding the control key down, click in the Wikipedia search box.
  3. From the contextual menu that appears, select "Add Site to Internet Search List…"
  4. In the "iCab: Add Search Site" dialog that appears, enter a name ("Wikipedia") and a key ("w"), then press the "OK" button.

Usage

Type "w search term" into the address bar, without quotes, where search term may be any string.
