Wikipedia:WikiProject Andhra Pradesh/2006-2022 assessment
The analytics of Wikiproject based article improvement for the Andhra Pradesh articles assessed to B (Project assessor assessment with a rubric) or GA level (Independent assessment) shows that film category articles top the list of successful GA assessments than other category articles. - Extract current B and GA article information from wikipedia 1.0 server
- In a spreadsheet, analyse year wise article assessment for B and GA classes and also for category of articles.
- /data, /article views
- articles list in petscan, pagepile number 48958
- Obtain page creation date using Quarry query 73363.
- Obtain category assignment info using Quarry query 73371.

- For B class assessment,41% of articles belong to Person category (n=41)
Category assignment period analysis[edit]
Time taken for Wikiproject Andhra Pradesh category assignment by adding {{WP India}} to its talk page was studied. As the template underwent changes till 2009, only articles which were added the project banner later were considered.
Considering data of 69 articles, the median time for category assignment was 2.76 years
'Time taken for assessment' analysis[edit]
Time taken for quality assessment to B or GA was analysed by considering assessment timestamp from Wikipedia 1.0 data and page creation date.
Considering data of 89 articles, the median time for assessment was 4.16 years
Page views analysis[edit]
Considering data for 89 articles, the median daily page views for the month of March 2023 were 255.
Other qualitative inputs[edit]
WikiProject Andhra Pradesh did not have any major drive or accomplishments. Sub Projects for cities such as Visakhapatnam (redirected to main project) and Eluru were initiated, but did not have any useful results, as the mass of active contributors is too low. It is usually one person's initiative. The bot based tools for sharing project related information and alerts were not deployed. So collaboration happened in a limited manner at India Project level only.
Conclusion[edit]
Time taken for B or GA assessment from article creation time is too long with a median value of 4.16 years. Film articles tops the GA assessment while person category tops the B assessment. Geography articles are very few for further analysis like the editor engagement before assessment date. As the level of interest for other categories appears too low, other ways of project management needs to be considered.
