09:07:18, 15 March 2017 review of submission by Julian E Vaughn[edit]

Dear all,

I would like to upload a photo to my article, but I´m having the same problem each time submitting it. The picture does not appear or do not give the possibility to upload it? Could please help me with that matter?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hello, Julian. Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. Uploading images can be a complex process, and you can begin to learn about it by reading WP:Uploading images. But you should also read WP:AUTO, which explains why we discourage people from writing autobiographies. Also useful will be WP:Your first article. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. a different, John William Miller already exists.
Should I be the one to change the name?
What should I change the name to, I thought of added his nick name: John William (Will) Miller
How do you edit the article name? Molason (talk) 17:22, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Molason. There's also an article at John W. Miller, so that wasn't an option. I re-named it Draft:John William Miller (aviation). NewYorkActuary (talk) 18:00, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

My article was declined but there was no specific lines that were pointed out? What exactly needs to be fixed? I believe the issue was sources? I found a source form the WallStreet Journal and just updated the article with more places I found Speaqua online. Please let me know how to fix this. Thank you for your help!

Hello, Steven. Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. Our reviewers typically do not point to specific lines of text when they raise concerns about "advertising". Most often, they are expressing a general concern that an entire draft appears to be little more than an extension of a company's web site or its social media marketing strategy. And that's what I saw when I looked at your submission. There's nothing there that wouldn't be found on the company's website -- even the "sources" are just links to brief product reviews. In order to get this draft accepted for publication, you will need to demonstrate that the company has received substantial, in-depth coverage from reliable sources that are independent of the company. And brief product reviews simply do not meet this need. I hope this response has been helpful. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. NewYorkActuary (talk) 21:38, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
