Rename to 2024 Southern Derecho?[edit]

Before I support or oppose, what is your source for today being classified a derecho? A quick google search for "Houston derecho" doesn't turn up anything today, with two news articles yesterday about the one on May 16. My current stance is "Oppose" until a source is found. Switching stands to strong oppose — Even the National Weather Service office in Houston didn’t mention it as a “derecho” in their latest press release. They called them “severe storms”. For me to reconsider, I need to see at least 3 news articles or a statement from the National Weather Service saying May 28 was a “derecho”. Strong oppose per all above; not a derecho. Also, WP:CRYSTAL, this was suggested before the system even hit Houston.
