Move and name[edit]

Shouldn't it be moved to Ruy González de Clavijo? Plus, he is refered to all through the article as "Clavijo", when his first surname is González. I imagine that technically he should be refered to as González de Clavijo, not simple with Clavijo (omitting the "de"). --Xaverius 23:31, 31 January 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xaverius (talkcontribs)

Ruy Gonzáles de ClavijoRuy González de Clavijo – The current spelling is wrong. Gonzáles is wrong Spanish spelling; the correct one is González, which uses the common -ez suffix meaning "son of", as in Martínez, Pérez, Fernández (in this case: son of Gonzalo). The correct spelling is already being used in the article text, but for some reason the title has it wrong. And there is a four years-old suggestion in the talk page proposing to make this change. 83.59.222.138 (talk) 11:51, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
